Considering Switch has been a massive success (and still is), Nintendo has little reasons to change their ways right now. They should take the opportunity to go wild and make a monster console, but we all know this ain't happening. I will be very surprised if the next Switch is anything else than a mid hardware upgrade and maybe some tweaks/addons.
they don't need to lower the level cap. they need to make the level cap significant. I'm level 65 and I barely have one level 60 gear. All the rest is bewteen 55 and 58. I'm grinding nightmare dungeons over and over (tier 18 to 20) and all the level 60+ gear I get have significantly lower power than my current lvl 55 to 58 gear. It doesn't make any sense.
Really great opportunity to get one. It isn't my favorite controller anymore (beaten by the way more expensive xbox elite 2), but it is still an extremely good and reliable controller and 70$ is a very fair price for such a quality product. For reference, if anyone wants to know how good and reliable I mean, well, know that I still have a Wii U pro controller, which I bought day 1, that works just as good as the switch one and battery life doesn't seem to have been affected by all those years yet. I kept using that one up to very recently (went from my main PC controller to second player PC controller to emergency controller) so, let's do the math... My Wii U controller pro is about 12 years old and its battery is still holding up and have 30+ hours of life per charge.
@marshalmathers2: Exactly. ROG opened the competition with its device, but that means it totally is not the time to buy such a device. It's quite obvious that better models (or even more competition) are coming down the line.
@eastland: to each his own, but enjoy playing only your PS5 games on a 5 inches screen and no more than 20-30 feet away from your PS5, while having to recharge every couple hours.
The medias are putting all focus on the FCC trial and the UK blocking the deal, but the inconvenient truth is: way more countries have approved the deal. There's way more chance the deal eventually goes through than not.
