^ well according to the updates this was developed alongside halo 3 (they had other projects during halo 1 and 2 but scrapped them early on). They went through with this one obviously. It's not halo, at least as halo 1 to 2 to 3 was. For the record, when someone asked Shiska if they were going to develop on other platforms he said "No" simply.

And besides, most people are still playing Halo 3, I know I am. Cold Storage is an awesome map. Well worth the 800 MS points ($10) I paid for it.

It looks like the long hinted at ip (well really directly said, it's just we don't know what it is) is going to be revealed on July 17th (the last day of E3) by Bungie.
