Grand Theft Auto is a wonderful piece of satire of American culture, down to the violence. Many people don't like it because it hits way too close to home.
Wii U weaker than 360- it's been reported that it's CPU is slower than both the 360 and PS3. Most of what is normally handled by the CPU (Physics) are handled by the GPU. Of course, that would create the opposite problems that the PS3 faced (excellent CPU bottlenecked by poor RAM and GPU).
Online- massive improvement over Wiiware, but still needs work. Admit it EA, you're still butthurt about how the Origin deal fell apart with Nintendo.
Nintendo has made its share of bad decisions, and it's still dealing with the windfall of bad decisions made 20 years ago. Summerwill, as an engineer, doesn't seem like the type of guy who likes things that are different.
@JOHN1486 You mean that the increased revenue does not curtail the shrinking profit margins? We might end up in a situation where selling 10 million copies wouldn't be enough just to break even.
Here's a tip, Square Enix. Your old strategy no longer works. You can no longer develop engines from the ground up and expect the game to make a profit.
@Dieofnv @kbzon312 PS3 had an exceptional CPU that was bottlenecked by terrible RAM. The Wii U has an excellent GPU that can handle physics, but an underclocked CPU.
You mean that EA wanted Origins on Wii U and Nintendo Network, Nintendo said no, and now EA is on a mission to bring down Nintendo by issuing an embargo on the console.
