I dont know, I am running it on very high, with a Q66 and an HD3870 its fluid on 1440x900

and it looks stuning, like amovie you watch from first-person... I cant agree with the comparison cause I dont think the game looses realism compared to the "target-pics"...

in deed there is an ultra-high-setting option, wich will not introduce new shaders, but ramps up every effectthat is in the game,

full water reflections, more rays and beams and smoother edgeAA and better overall AA, there are effects youCAN'T unable under DX9 with a confic-tweak... most likly the advanced motion-blur and object-motion blur and higher-quality depht of field

agreed... it came out of nowhere and is the best RPG I know on PC...

some issus keep it back from being as perfect as a goty should be, but its a remarkable game of 2007

but the only thing I care about is that creative and good games are made and available, I dont care if developer A or puplisher B is responsible for providing the games, as long as creative individuals are able to work there visions out..

creation is eternal and therfore there will always be games and people interested in making them .. regardless of how many developing or puplishing companys have bite the dust and closed there doors, the people responsible for the quality of games will not disappear with the company there eventually in...

the so called "piracy" is just one constraine that will force the ongoing development of interactive and virtual content... its a jungle and only the fittest will survive...

if you want to help PC gaming buy a modern and expensiverig, and one for every console-playing friend you have..

this all has nothing to do with conditioning...

if I get preview-screens and videos about a certain game and than when it is released finlly and isnt loooking like I was expecting from the previews... why shouldnt I be pissed, cause I was spoiled? ...if I am than forced to upgrade to get what I was expecting, I barely call myself "conditioned" than...

I dont get any satisfactiom from upgrading my system to meet the requriments to run a game as ment to be,

but If I am buying a Wii´, regaredless of outdated technolgy and most boring cheapestgames ever, just because Nintendo made it, than Iwould be somehow conditioned...

"conditoned" means theres something happening inside of you everytime a bell is rang for instance, something you cant controll... but if you forced to have the newest stuff all the time, just because it is the newest stuff, than this comes frominferiority complexes and you could haveconditoned yourself to the fact that others are juding you by the stuff you own..

but just because I want to play my games in an adequat quality that doesnt mean I am conditoned... in this case its called "sence of taste" ...

and if your wife wants to have new furniture, this also doesnt mean she is conditioned to anything, its simplyuncomftable to live between old and rotten furnishings... :D
