So here's how it happened.

Ive moved house this mounth, so I needed to change my details. after a few weeks a sign came up when I tried signing into live, that said something about not having the correct credit card details to renew my membership for when it next runs out(and definatley did not say anything about me having to pay it again) so I changed it to fit. the thing is at the begining of Novermber I brought a one year subscription for £39.99 (I live in the uk) but anyway when I got my bank statement there was a charge on there for another year when I still had 10 mounths left! So I'm wandering

1) why has this happened

and

2) what should I do about it (e-mail, phone someone (if so could you give me the number if you know it, bearing in mind I live in the uk) e.c.t)

thanks

[QUOTE="KorruptRaiden"]So today i was having a game of fallout3, got bored, went down to the park for a few hours, when i got back i turned the xbox on, put the disc in, and well it would not read at all, just sayws 'open tray', anyone got any ideas to fix it without taking it apart or sending it in?D0ub13_5c0r3
The only way I know how to make you're xbox play the disk, is to tap on the top of it (it has to be flat). Over the part of the disk tray. You can continue to do this, but it'll only get worse. Send it in for repair if you could. And hjpro153, you could look on ebay or at a pawn shop to get a new one. Don't know how much they are, but look for something around in those areas.

oh ok, I'll just have to look on ebay because england dousen't have any pawn shops

I think.

[QUOTE="bensumner"] Well, the E74 code basically means that ANYTHING can be wrong with you're xbox. But, thank Jesus for this, Microsoft has given us E74 coder people a extra 3 year warranty! Send it in![QUOTE="dev578"]My Xbox just wont turn on the power supply seems fine and i doont have a warranty anymore please helpD0ub13_5c0r3
Borrow a friend's xbox's power supply and see if it works. If it does, get a new one. If it don't, somethings wrong with you're xbox.

I'm not sure if its been posted here beofore (lets be honest, can I realy be bothered to check all 28 pages when someone else might know the awnser?) and please excuse me if it has, but I've had alot of trouble with the 360.

I've had my xbox for 1 year and 5 mounths now and one day I went to turn thhe xbox on to find that it worked perfectly. I watched the insiders and played a game and noticed the sceen kept going green (like all the colours were turning into diffrent shades of green, think of it like seeing the game through a cats eyes or as an old black and white film, only its green) so I finished my match and turned of the console, waited about 10 seconds and then turned it back on to find out nothing came up on my television screen. the power button was on. the controller was on, and the channel was the same one as I always use, nothings changed in that 10 seconds the xbox was off for. but the televiosion screen just douse not pick up any activity from the xbox at all.

I've checked all the other channels to see if it worked, and then checked all the cables and leads, but everything was still pluged in properly. I checked for RROD but there were no signs off it. the xbox was funtioning perfectly, but not the television.

so my question is, what do I do?

get a new tv? repair my xbox? anything else I could try doing to fix it myself?

please, any help given here would be much aprieciated.

Like the above one, borrow a friend's TV cables and try it. If it works, then get new cables, if it don't, plug you're xbox into a new TV and see if it works. If it works, get a new TV

Just tested it on a diffrent tv and the sound cable (the white one) was working alright, and I could hear the xbox guide come up and everything, but one of the visual cables (yellow and red) are probably broke.

do you know where I can get a new one and how much it is?

yes, you can still get to level 30 before finishing the last non-DLC main quest, take it back!, if thats what you mean.

when you have the DLC just go about your bussiness and after a few minutes there will be a notice telling you the level cap is now 30.

I got my first RRoD today. It happened when I was playing a original xbox game. The game froze when I loaded a save, I restarted the console then what to do you now the red rings of death. I waited a little while, and tried again. I turn on the console, it goes to the dashboard, after a few minutes it freezes. After a bit of trial and error, I mananged to get Halo 3 to load up fine, I played a session of Griefball without any issues, but I do notice that my 360 is a lot louder than usual. Can anyone help me? Should I send it in for repair? Any advice would be great.

By the looks of things in the forum at the moment, I would say its wiser to get it fixed rather that waiting untill it works, because it seems to worsen.

thats been happening to many people recently, as I've gathered.

just wait a few days and if still nothings happened try sending an email requesting for this update to the apropriate person.
