let me put it this way... almost everyone in the world, wether they admit it or not, wants to be and thinks they are the most supiriour person in the world, their the fastest, their the strongest, their the smartest, anyone who douse actualy beat them receives the other end of the stick, no? or is this still to formal for you?

my generalisation is a generalisation on modern day gamers, not on my age group. although, truth be told, most modern day gamers are teenagers who picked up the game because they've seen it on other websites and ask their parents to buy it for them because they're not old enough to do it themselves. the parents mostly either don't care or don't read the back either, only the price tag. and the last sentence was a guess on why you don't understand my wording. I suppose its a brit thing? It wasn't intended to do anyone any harm or offence, just like everything else I've said.

I don't even see what the craze for gamerscore is... it's a number, you don't get mouney from it, you don't get a prize fromit, and it certaintly dousn't make you a better gamer (maybe in long term it is, but lets not go into to much detail about it here)

then again its a chance to prove that your the best, and what do humans like to do? If you loose your gamer score its not like all your possessions are taken off you forever, its just making you look like a worse gamer, which you are, because people cheating are usualy people who can't do certain things for themselves. besides, its not as big, because it only goes as far as multiplayer, it wouldn't do that because you used a health cheat on GTA to get past the last mission or something.

Agreed. however, what if someone (lets call them A)is faulsly accused of cheating? say if someone on their team glitched on a diffrent game and the server malfunctioned, and picked A instead of the cheater. there wouldn't be a way to get all the gamerscore back, and if A tried talking his/her way for some compensation, whats the chance that microsoft will beleive them? also nobody would want to play with A because he/she was tagged as a cheater.

ah, yet, braid was on a 33% sale in feb, so I bought it, it only charged me 800MS points, but aparently their server told them I payed the full 1200 and I was gaven 500MS points, that isn't 100% true is it?
