How did they get the van in there? More pressingly, how do they expect to get it out?Dark__Link

Well I was thinking pillars too but it looks like they could get the van out/in through the bottom two pillars. Has to be something else.. more obvious less vague..

Paying bills/apt rent makes me feel old.

And when you start complaining about taxes, you know you're getting old.

You and your friends often reminisce about the good ol' high school and grade school days... easy days.

Oh and that one time when I wore my captain planet tshirt and my cousin who is still in high school said, "Who is that!?"

Well, apparently the feeling is not mutual is it, snow? I say move on and find another girl who would "love" you back. I think what everyone is having trouble about in this thread is you went a little melodramatic on us by saying you lost everything you cared for in this world. Makes you go.. really? A girl? Makes you sound immature.. a bit. I put my family on top of my list of things I care for.. then possibly friends.. then my guitar.. Research says that chocolate triggers the release of hormones that are similar to the hormones released when you're in love. Go eat some chocolates.

[QUOTE="floridaskater05"]the body puts itself in a paralysis state while sleeping.PLZKLLME0080

Well then why do guys still have wet dreams?

The interesting thing about the paradoxical sleep is that certain body parts get excited.

What kind of "twitch"? Is it like constant twitching like a seizure, or a sudden muscle contraction. Seizure is not good but the latter is called the myoclonic jerk, which is very normal. Often people report that they feel like their falling and then there's muscle contraction and they wake up.

I learned about this in psych class (and neuro) a few years back but never really experienced it. During REM or dream state (or paradoxical sleep? sorry been a while), your body does put itself in a paralysis state while your breathing, heart rate and brain activities increase, and erm... certain body parts get excited. But this state of paralysis happens when you're sleeping.. what happened to you is another one of those fun things that science can't explain much. =)

Anyway, maybe after many failed attempts of trying to move... I would just pray. I'm not very religious but when these weird things happen to you, sometimes all you can do is pray.

Fun fact: You know that feeling of falling when you're sleeping and then you feel your whole body jerk and you wake up, it's called myclonic jerk. It's almost like the opposite of sleep paralysis. Alright, I apologize for posting a somewhat nerdy reply.

Take some acetic anhydride and reflux in opium. Then say goodbye to your parents because they're probably never gonna see you again.. Though bone cancer patients would probably thank you.

Of course I left out most of the lab part of this for obvious reasons.. And they say biochem wasn't helpful.
