You're all gonna hate me heh

Here's my schedule in the fall quarter.

MWF- I start at 11 and end at 2:50. My T/Th's are a bit wonky because I have a 3 hour gap, but I start at 1 and end at 7. 11am is early if you ask me. =)

[QUOTE="hobbez"]I'm a college student.. Ramen is my life.CoolSkAGuy

Im a High School Student and Ramen is my life :o I cant dare to think what ill be eating in College!

You will still be eating Ramen. In High school ramen was the only thing I knew how to cook, in college, it's the only thing I can afford. If only I could eat my books I'd probably ingest less crap. I've always wished that books were edible and the information in them would diffuse into my bloodstream (or through osmosis..whatever) and somehow my brain would be able to decipher everything and I'd have better grades! Just imagine.. just eating the pages.. no longer reading them..

If you're aiming for medical school, anything less than a 3.5 and they don't even look at you... unless you have a great story behind it. Eg. You better have come from a broken family...

Don't really like alcohol much, but I do like my coffee. My body is a coffee machine, my kidneys are filters. My blood is probably more caffeine concentrated than starbucks' crapuccino machiatto. Smell my eyes!

Glasses. I tried contacts for about a year, it's much easier to wear glasses. You put them on when you need them and take them off when you don't. Try falling asleep with regular contacts on.... let's see how good your morning will be.

It isn't especially difficult. It depends on who your professor is. Some professors allow you to have an opinion, while others want you to memorize their beliefs word for word.

If you could change it though, I think sociology would be a more relevant class to most people, barring doctors, psychologists, lawyers, and politicians maybe.

I would love to take sociology but I have to be in English 120. I'm gonna be in English 110 (which is 1 step below it). But I do look forward to taking psychology but I just wanted to find out how hard it is so I can be prepared for it. Would there be a lot essay writing, note taking, etc.?

Probably. It is college, after all. And also, psychology is a science, so you will probably be doing experiments and such, though I don't know if they do that in introductory courses.

I thought they only did lab in natural sciences like Chemistry or Geology?

If you're a conceptual person Psych isn't too bad. I suggest keep up with the reading as well. Usually, psych books aren't as hard to read compared to Chem or Bio textbooks. Flash cards help too.

There is lab in upper division psych classes but it's very unlikely that there is going to be lab in this intro class. Good luck

The kazoo, triangle, and tambourine. =)

Just kidding, I've been playing the piano for over 12 years, guitar for about 8 and drums for 3 weeks. I recently added violin to my list of future instruments to conquer (possibly-depends how bored I'd get after college.)

So in otherwords massive floding?

BEAN_LARD_MULCH

If the poles shift, the planet will actually turn upside-down. Our atmosphere, however, will keep moving in the same direction it is now. So, multi-hundred mile-an-hour winds and Earthquakes and such until the planet resettles. Probably Earthquakes and tectonic activity for a while after that as well, if not another 'pangea-shift' where the continents completely re-arrange.

Oh like that movie The Day After Tomorrow? Hm... well that's unfortunate..

Well, no the day after tomorrow is another ice age.

Oh yeah that's right. But they also showed insane weather conditions. Anyway, that would still suck.. we all die a few days before Christmas.. It's probably only going to be another y2k scare though.
