do a xbox live test, make sure your NAT is set to OPEN. if it says anything else you need to arrange to either enable UPNP on your router to automatically forward the ports, if you cant do that forward the port 3074 to your xbox (see www.portforward.com look under routers for your router then find xbox live 360 on the guides after picking your router to learn how to do it off a guide) if that dont work then you need to setup a DMZ ZONE/SERVER for the ip address of your xbox if ur nat aint open (probs says, closed, moderate, strict) then that can cause lag and problems connecting to games 2mb broadband shud be fine if u have no other computers downloading anything , just dont host games join other peoples and you should be finedjrobst

Thanks for that! One thing though how do i change my NAT? Coz i have been having alot of problems with my NAT not letting me download things fast and stuff.

yes, since your wireless connection can handle up to 32 the 2 that you are putting onto your 32mbps wireless connection is only using a small percentage of that 32.

Basically lets say you have a 35mbps internet connection from your internet provider, the fastest that you would be able to dl on your 32mbps wireless connection, would be 32mbps.

yungog

Ok thanks! Will it all work fine without lag etc?

it would work fine but you wont be able to host matches in games like gears of war............

Thanks

I have a computer with a wireless network adapter which connects to my roughter down stairs and i'm getting a xbox 360 tommorow. I want to hook my 360 up to my pc with an ethernet cable and then get the wireless signal of my pc's wireless adapter. First question is, will this work? Second question is, My internet has 0.5mb upstream and 5.0mb downstream, will this be good enough to play xbox live without lag etc? Thanks in advance!
