What I meant is find out the max voltages for your CPU and don't go past that. Play with the settings and see what you can get out of it. I didn't mean go put it to the max.
If its a application your looking for use nTune, you can get a slight overclock sometimes without increasing your voltage. But if you actually want to get anything out of an overclock just use the bios. Its all about trial and error, it isn't hard at all.
Every time i go to overclock in the bios my computer **** up! Help!
LOL, don't OC with software ... use BIOS and to do so you need a mother board that supports OC. OCing with a software is just not the safe way to go.s00kah
Yh, Thats what i done, I done it using da bios lol
I would look up the max voltages for the CPU and see how far you can push it. Cpu's work fine until the high 60's Celsius, so I would make sure it only gets to about 50 degrees on load.hooded1man
M8, I don't want to be doing that trust me! I donethat on a long time ago and it **** my computer. But tnx for the advice anyways.
Hold on m8, iI do know a bit more than you think its just that i gotta go out in a minute and im rushing da typing. lol, So should i? Dont worry i know how to clock a cpu
Should i be over clocking my CPU? At idle its temp is 25 and when playing a game its only 30-35. I havent overclocked it yet so should i? If i should, could you send me a link to a cpu overclocking application tnx Oh and its a 3.4ghz P4 CPU
Oh by the way the reson i want to access 3d settings is because i keep getting black artifacts over my screen when playing a game as if my gpu is over heating. This is all worthwhile?
