It has now become a trend for company to warn gamers of false invitation. This will give them a popular image, or so they think... But then gamers can be pretty stupid sometimes.

Here's hoping it's something more than a shooter.

Would not touch this, but it does look more practical than Wii fit.

Why can't SE make a proper CrossGate game instead keep making clones of other titles in the mmo genre is beyond me. :(

@TohouAsura @hoplayletsplay Not sure if you remember how annoying it was in MGS4 where pressing R1 actually unlocks achievements. I want to sit back and relax when a cutscene comes up. I don't want to look at the top right corner of the scene when there's a whole lot more happening else where. The absolutely most important function of the cutscene is to convey the story. When I'm watching a cutscene I don't want to be disrupted by gameplay that actually distract from the story telling. I want to focus on characters' dialogues and interaction. just like I don't want my gameplay to be disrupted when unnecessary cutscene that pops up from no where.

And let me make it clear that I'm almost certain that part's of the MGS will be much improved if I actually don't have to option to press R1, it's distracting really.

@TohouAsura @hoplayletsplay @DigitalDame Tohou, I know what you mean. Now that I think about it, the most memorable scene for me got to be Aeris scene in ff7. But there are just so many playable cutscene done wrong now a days that make me sick of them.

I guess if the interactivity doesn't add anything, then it should be forgone. But if what you do in the cutscene actually further progress the story then it's could be cool. Turing your head around is not.

@TohouAsura @hoplayletsplay @DigitalDame

I have played most of the MGS games including MGS1 and I actually think MGS has some of the best use of "interactive" cutscenes. But I honestly think Kojima could have done all the R1 pressing for me and story would still be as great, if not better from Kojima's perspective.

The mind reading cutscene from phyco mantis is pretty cool too, but do I really have to hold the R1 button for the entire scene to peek at EVA bewbs? Those should be done automatically already.

@Synthia @hoplayletsplay 99% of the time (let me know what is that 1%), what you do in a playable cutscene does not have any consequences after the cutscene. You can't do anything wrong or gain any reward for anything you do in the playable cutscene then what's the point of doing anything? Just to move the camera around to feel more immerse? That's pretty dumb, it's like the dev is too lazy to put in the extra effort and have the player do all the camera works etc.

Give me more cgi instead. Now those are quality stuff.
