@probable: I know it's a great marketing technique, but the vast majority of the time, when a movie advertises itself as being based on real events, it's not really based on anything close to what actually happened.

There was no cannibal family in real life and all of the skin and bone stuff he made was from bodies he had dug up.

@Barighm: So I'm gonna guess you're racist or homophobic. That doesn't fly these days, bud.

What's the point of reviewing anything anymore? The generation that games are targeted at these days isn't reading them. Going by the comments, most people aren't reading them. They care about the number they can argue about and that's pretty much it. Stop wasting time reviewing games. If you want to do something meaningful, get on a podcast, YouTube, or Twitch and have some meaningful discussions about whatever you're playing.

It'd be nice if you could actually get someone who's played Overwatch to spend an hour going over the list and fixing all the inaccuracies before you bump the article. Lifeweaver is the first on the list, and most of what is written is factually wrong or out of date.

@s1taz4a3l: No, I think he's spot on. You don't seem to know how insurance works. Insurance isn't an investment. It protects investments. You don't get to pay insurance, you have to pay insurance. In the majority of cases, paying insurance is just throwing money away.

You're the first person I've ever heard getting excited over the prospect of buying insurance. There are also about a billion better ways to invest 2 million than buying a Magic card. He bought it because he wanted it, not to make a profit.

How many Switchs have been sold? How many bajillion 3rd party games are on the Switch and run just fine? The Switch has found a perfect slice of the market and doesn't need to cater to the giant blockbuster games because it'll likely mean it won't continue to be hundreds of dollars cheaper than the competition.

@noodles227: It probably has a lot of relevance to the tiny amount of people on Earth who play Baldur's Gate 3. It's less about replaying it endlessly and more about knowing there's a decent chance that the choices you make while playing the game will influence how the game ends as opposed to something like Mass Effect where hardly any of the choices you make are reflected in the ending.

@blankfaced: Or better yet, play the games you think look good from previews and form your own opinion. Why would you want to watch someone play a game for a few hours and then play it yourself?

Who cares if Starfield is bad? I'm still going to want to experience it. It is free though, so there's that.

Not really a huge name. Sure, Haaland's probably the best striker on the planet, but he's not a mainstream name. I bet most people who don't follow soccer have no idea who Haaland is. Kids aren't running around all over the world wearing Haaland jerseys.
