@mogan: They absolutely could've made a great movie out of Borderlands. Everything is there with the right filmmaker. James Gunn was the right director to try and ripoff, but Suicide Squad was the movie they should've modelled it after.

It is a little funny it's being called a Guardians of the Galaxy ripoff because a lot of that DNA is straight out of the games, which predate the movie by quite a bit. There's a lot from the first two Borderlands games in Guardians of the Galaxy.

I watch a lot of prestige TV and can't think of one example where a million genders were being forced on me or someone's race was the sole thing that defined them. What shows specifically are you talking about? What show is saying there's no objective truth?

Did you not understand Battlestar Galactica? There was a ton of deeply political stuff in the show and it was a direct reaction to how Moore saw the government react to 9/11. How is that not woke?

@faithxvoid: Except they're not. If you buy a current tech TV today it's more expensive than a current tech TV from ten years ago. The sweet spot TVs are more expensive than they used to be. The cheap TVs are more expensive than they used to be.

Waiting a few years to buy old tech isn't the same thing. Cars aren't cheaper just because you can buy 2015 for less than a 2025 model.

Dreading the day they stop making it trivial to get Game Pass through rewards. I have had Game Pass since day one and have yet to pay a dime more than the $1 to convert my Gold time.
