I forget, do they usually lead the announcements with the biggest name or save them until the end. This is by far more most lacking class since they started televising the event. Why not put The Rock in this year since a lot of big names in the past have had a match in their induction year. I was thinking Bray Wyatt would be going in, but it's kind of weird to it at the same time as his dad.
That sure is a weird way to title the article. Season 2 was never planned, and the source material is used up. I can only think of a single time when continuing a show after the source material was used up was a good thing. It did turn out to make two of the best seasons of television ever, but I don't see anyone being able to replicate that.
Why not just title it with a non-clickbaity title like no plans for a second season?
@zerojuice: Trout's probably a little high, but Judge was absolutely a beast again last year. He would have been right at the top of most offensive categories if he hadn't gotten hurt. It also wasn't a wear-and-tear injury. He ran into a gate. Very good chance he's a top-three offensive player again and plays pretty good defence.
@deathbychickens: Even if was the way you assumed, why is that a bad thing? People were just buying books. It doesn't really matter if he was already writing them, you still have to pay to read them.
This is a baffling review. While it probably is the best wrestling game ever made, the Showcase mode is an awful slog of a mode, and that seems to be the general consensus. Did he actually play through it? His comments sound like he's talking about the theoretical version of the mode which sounds amazing. In reality, the objectives are mostly tedious and barely relevant to the actual match. The technology is neat, but without the commentary and crowd noise, it's a lot of lifeless clips that don't capture the feeling of the actual matches at all. Hogan vs Warrior at WM 6 was a great match in real life but awful in the showcase. Want to watch two sweaty men stand in the middle of the ring barely hugging each other with no commentary and muted crowd noise for multiple minutes? They've got you covered. Not to mention how often they task you with performing a signature move, which is almost always countered, forcing you to spend the next few minutes building up the meter again. I can kind of see how someone could get some enjoyment out of playing through it, but not having a single critical thing to say about it besides wanting more interviews is weird.
It doesn't feel like a playable Wrestlemania documentary at all because of how disconnected playing the match is from the actual match. You'd have a much more enjoyable experience watching any actual WWE documentary than you would playing through the mode.
@Slannmage: Oh, you're one of those guys. You can also say there are only two genders pretty much anywhere you want without getting banned. People get banned for being assholes about it. Equating people's identity to thinking they're shoes is what's going to get you banned.
@Slannmage: No one has been wronged here. Do you think Brock Lesnar even knows he's in a video game?
And what do you mean these days. Since the dawn of time people have had to live with presumed guilt any time they were accused. Innocent until proven guilty is a court thing and isn't relevant to this situation at all.
