[QUOTE="McStrongfast"]That's because it was revealed just now. I believe they've had a press event already(?), and they'll show it off publicly on March 1st. The beta will probably be published a month or four after that, the marketing train will keep on a trucking and the game proper absolutely will be released this year as EA is hellbent on stealing market shares from Call of Duty. They'll delay Mass Effect before Battlefield.

yeah maybe. and of all the years to really try and beat call of duty this is definately it. Cod will still sell but nobody is sure if the quality will be there this year. It does bother me a little that they are putting 2 battlefield games out in only a year and a half, i mean i know they were working on them simultaneously, but still, it just seems fast. I also feel like mass effect 3 might get delayed as well because that also seems early.
anyway the battlefield games and Cryisis are two of my favourite FPS of all time (other than all of the stuff valve does, and bioshock and stalker) needless to say, im super psyched for both
Think they've been working on BF3 for four years or some such. Been six years since BF2. I wouldn't worry about it coming out too soon.ME2 was released only a year ago, so I can't see ME3 being ready for release too early this year, and if they're planning on a November release I think they might have to replan. At this point that month is looking ridiculous. And EA's got two big releases in Q4. I'm pretty much counting on ME3 getting delayed.
I consider Uncharted 3, Call of Duty 14 and Battlefield 3 to be immovable.
Anyway, I don't know if I mentioned it, but I voted for BF3.
#2 Red Orchestra 2
#3 Duke Nukem Forever, Homefront, Brink, Bulletstorm, Crysis 2, RAGE
Deus Ex won't be a shooter when I'm playing it. First person talkhacksneakjumpliftpuncher. There's enough shooting to go around in other games. See above.
sure, id agree with you there. although Bioware did put out a statement a while back right after ME2 came stating that they are tying to focus on getting their games out the door faster and to expect ME3 sooner rather than later. which as long as it doesnt effect quality then thats fine by me. and Yeah, Call of Duty is a forsure thing, there is no way activision is going to let that game slip
and yeah, red orchestra 2 looks great, rage im unsure about. its got potential, but ID hasnt put out a great game in a while
