all ive heard is the stuff from the 360 beta (i dont want to listen to any more of it because ive decided to not look at any coverage until i play it, so excited) but yea, what ive heard is FANTASTIC. omg. and the menus are effing awesome.

I just purchased my first STEAM game and DLing it right now...L4D..:) Its my favorite game for 360 and thought I couldnt go wrong trying it out 1st. 20$ not too bad for it I guess...I really hope it works out..

did you get L4D or L4D2? because all the maps from the first game are coming free to the second game in the next few months

sorry, another farcry 2 problem

So i have far cry 2 on steam, and for some reason i cant access any quests/assignments. Im going to one of the factions in the village at the center of the map to get a quest and place has the quest available exclamation point icon on it but when i go up to guy i cant talk to him to let me in, it doesnt even give me the little prompt to talk to him. Same with the guys at Mikes Bar, it says that there is a quest available but when i go there i cant talk to anybody.

i dont have any other quest active and no others available. and so far going back to an old save hasnt worked, i could go back further but i dont want to lose all my progress.

any suggestions?

hey! so i have a steam copy of farcry 2, and its having an issue.

So for the longest time, it ran great, and then for some reason, it started to only open up in windowed mode, which by its self, sux. And i can seem to find a way to get it to go full screen. Here's where it gets weird tho.

Im playing on my laptop and the native screen resolution is 1680x945, but whenever i set the game to run at that resolution and hit "apply" it opens to 1680x945 for a second and then shrinks to a smaller window that looks like its only about 1280 by 720. HOWEVER, when I set the game to 1440x900 it opens in a window that size and is fine (despite not being full screen)

THIS IS WEIRD. HELP! any ideas?

there are way to many games coming out this year. jesus. my top 3 are all going to be out by april. after that theres still mass effect 3, rage and elder scrolls. gosh, so excited.

dead island looks pretty cool too. I would enjoy some more new IPs
