Sure I'll bite (OH PUN).

PS3 gamers and cows alike, while I have a problem with sony, I have none with the ps3 itself. The console is actually pretty cool. I'll be honest I like what I see with bluray and A few of the games look appealing. I also like how it has multiple uses even in its downtime for folding at home, very progressive.

PC gamers and Hermits alike, you have a far superior system then everyone else. Games on the PC have incredible value in that they are almost always cheaper AND get mods. I also feel right at home with a keyboard and mouse.

Xbox 360 gamers and lemmings alike, you have the finest console network I've ever had the pleasure of using. Xbox live has managed to keep me in touch with many friends who I otherwise would have lost contact with over the past few years. Kudos to all the fun original games too.

Wii gamers and Sheep alike, your console is the future of this industry. It took that one video of people using the wii to realize the incredible potential your console has. You also have incredible first party titles that always deliver regardless of what anyone says.

Eh sure I did all of them. None of them are my enemies really, but that doesn't mean they are my friends per se.

Sir_Crocidile

That was quite possibly the best post I have ever read in SW, well said d00d.

I think the revolutionary thing about it is that they got it to work so well. If we could just get a little glimpse behind the scenes, the embedded systems designers and the engineers and techies that worked so hard to get this to work as well as it does, I think all arguments will be settled.

Most developers say they are equal in power, what the ps3 has in pure processing power, it lacks in available memory, and visa versa with the 360.

I can find you a link to an article if you really want, or you could google it for yourself.

I'll freely admit the inclusion of dual shock was a step forward for gaming. But beyond that they haven't done anything except provide a platform that allowed GREAT GAMES to push gaming forwards. None of the gaming legends have come from Sony. All the legends are either from Nintendo or 3rd parties.

Sony has done ONE thing that has pushed gaming forwards, other than that, they have ripped ideas and tech off from BETTER companies and made a profit.

I liked the ps1 a lot (Thrasher, tenchu ftw) but the ps2 wasn't my bag. It had some wicked games but my one broke and I didn't bother getting another one, I got a GC instead and it's survived a hell of a beating, and still plays well. Though I did like killzone and the Jak and Daxter series is one of my all time favourites, much better that R & C, if they made a new Jak and Daxter, I'd probably get a ps3.

@TC...Hey man, if you can't handle a PC, then stick to your consoles. It's as simple as that. Leave the rigs to someone who can handle 'em.

According to devs, the two systems are pretty much the same, power wise. With the 360 trading off pure processor power for more memory.

I think MS should just use the next generation in multi-core processors. The cell doesn't make that much difference in the end.
