AMD 4000+
Radeon Sapphire X1950 PRO 512
Gigabyte mo

I've never cared much about overclocking in the past because I didn't get much benefit from it. Either the hardware didn't respond well to it or the hardware was too underpowered to make any real difference. My current aging AGP system seems to be responding well to it and it's helping to take the edge off of the more laggier areas of games like HL2:EP2, COD4 Demo and TimeShift Demo. I can actually see the frame rate go up a bit.

What I've also learned is that different games have different overclocking limits. For example, 3D Mark05 will crash out if the cpu is over clocked past 12%, Time Shift Demo will lockup if the CPU is overclocked greater then 14% but HL2:EP2 seems to be happy if overclocked up to 17%. The Easy Tune 5 that came with my mo goes as high as 20% but setting it to that will instantly lock up the machine.

Overclocking the GPU also has some variation depending on the game. So at this point, I'm keeping notes based on the game and I only overclock the CPU and GPU when I go to play these games.

So it's been fun experimenting with overclocking and locking up the machine to find each games limit.

Looks like I need to pick up "Lair".

The six-axis thing was a little wierd for me at first with "Heavenly Sword", but once I got the hang of it, it was a ton of fun.

Just purchase "Orange Box" and you'll have it all.

Check out the "Resident Evil" series. I'm a big fan.

"Silent Hill 4" was real scary. It's very different for the other games in the series.

"Fatal Frame 2" will have the hair standing on the back of your head.

"Cold Fear" was real good.

Since most of us are dudes, we could care less if people know our real age.

Played the time shift demo on my aging AGP system. Looks great and ran with a good frame rate. Mostly above 30 fps.

At first, the ability to slow, stop and reverse time was an odd thing to grasp. Still not sure what to do with reverse, but after you get the hang of slow and stop, this game is way fun. You slow/stop time and run into a room af bad guys and plug 'em all with your shot gun. Got to be quick because slowing or stoping time only lasts for about a few seconds and then it recharges back. The time thing really makes things interesting.

The environment also looks cool. I have a feeling I'll be picking up this game. Give the demo a try.
