But PlayStation VR is not just a Playstation 4 peripheral. While Ito warned that "nothing will happen right away," he revealed that Sony was considering plans to enable the use of Playstation VR through connection with PCs in the future. "Since Playstation 4 shares a lot of its internals with PCs, the possibility is there. At the moment we are focused on games and we are not ready to make any announcements at this stage, but I'd say there will be an expansion into various fields."

So what do you think? For someone with both PS4 and Gaming PC this could be great.

350 and stronger than ps4(doesnt have to double it) and I'm fine with it, 400 would be a bit too much for a Nintendo console I think

That might be right too. Can Nintendo get away with charging that much?

350 and being more powerful than xbone/ps4 could still work, 400 would be pushing it, 350 and being equal/less than ps4 would be hard as well. Ofc most of the Ninty fans buy it regardless but this is about expanding the userbase, have to make it attractive to masses. There's still more people who own x360/ps3 but dont have xbone/ps4 and they might look to upgrade

@charizard1605: Yes obviously the controller f.e is going to be pricier than the competitors, if it's truly 1080p screen on it esp and Nintendo consoles have never been powerhungry which limits the performance options as well

@techhog89: You consider that those counterpats were not 500 and came out that long ago, one would think that you can reach higher level of performance w/o increase in cost, the cost of the level for that performance is not same as it was more than 2 years back

Is it impossible to keep Quantum Break vs Uncharted4 in one thread, or can we have the other one for gfx and lets make this one for gameplay?

@charizard1605: @waahahah: When you compare Xbox one and PS4 hardware you see they are extremely close, one has slightly stronger gpu one has stronger cpu(albeit different kind of memory architecture, both provided by AMD making it quite easy to do performance optimization. Again it's not massive amounts of extra work for the NX version, but it's some.

For all we know the NX SDK may be a treat to work with

Then again, current gen consoles are far weaker than the best PCs, but i believe most PC gamers play on mid rage machines.

Yes high amount of PC's that have steam installed are indeed that of a toaster level and people like myself who own even one 980ti make for less than 1% of users.

There are more PC's with specs that exceed that of PS4's than there are PS4's, but its obviously laughable to claim that every PC gamer games on super high resolutions and max settings.

People just spin stuff to meet their own agenda, nothing new about that

@waahahah: Yes the compiling part is trivial, the point was that the "actual" development takes longer when you have to throw ARM in the mix, given how similar PC/Xbone/PS4 are to eachother atm, I'm not saying it's going to be a lot of extra work as I have no access to NX devkit, but it's still more
