The funny thing is Evolve was a great game in execution, distinct in what it did as a competitive FPS, and they still continue to add free content, yet it gets shat on so hard by a majority of people who've never even picked it up all because the publisher decided it was a good idea to put out a few bits of optional cosmetic DLC around the time of its release. Made more ironic because most of the games on this top 25 list are likely to be some of the worst offenders of paid DLC microtransaction nonsense in recent years, yet everyone seems to forget that, simply because Evolve is new, and CoD, Halo, every MOBA on the face of the earth have been around a little longer. So maybe once Evolve 3 comes around, people will get used to it and find somewhere else to bitch about nothing important.
I thought the PS4 list was bad but this is just hilarious. Not a single actual exclusive? I mean sure most of the X1 exclusives are not my cup of joe, but no Forza? Halo? What's the point in even having a specific console list if all we end up voting for is multiplats? They're great games sure, but again, it renders these lists pointless.
Sickening Bloodborne isn't in the lead. This is why I hate reader polls - it's always the same winner across all plats. Totally lacking in any variety. Like, yeah Witcher's great, but DEFINITELY not the best >>>PS4<<< game this year
