@Marky360: I could say the same about Deus Ex feeling like a boring treadmill of fake "choice" when in reality the outcome at the end of the day is always the same. No real sense of player decision, just pre-scripted dialogue, poorly written for the most part at that, terrible shooting mechanics, lazy RPG systems, lackluster graphics that fail to pull you in or immerse you into the world, no choice whatsoever of character customization or creation, and an awful case of deja vu throughout every single game in its series playing like a next-genified carbon copy.
No, I could say that but even he praised his own game for "making the most of the medium" so he must be right.
@Hurvl: Guess what, DE is still predetermined, scripted illusion of "choice" he's basically calling any game that isn't a sandbox RPG "low expression" and it's incredibly ironic because most of the games he praised are as linear and predetermined as they come, with hack job stories and little to know gameplay variety. This guy is clearly attempting to pump his muscles because he's insecure his game has not changed in the last 15 years.
@moesuir: "low 8" what are on boy? 8 is a great score and the review was nothing but praising nearly every aspect of the game, in particular improving upon its predecessors. Get out of here with that trash logic, nobody needs to know your obvious agenda and crystal clear bias towards Xbox. We all have preference, we all enjoy games on different levels. Not to mention uh I dunno, different reviewers??? And have you even played Driveclub? I would assume not, as the game has also grown exponentially will the only $10 season pass and anyone who thinks the game is lacking on content at this point is literally lying to themselves.
But you know, good job not reading (or even simply watching) the review.
Definitely a great month! Just got Walking Dead S1 on X1 for free now S2 free on PS4? Mass Effect 2 one of my favorite games of last gen and BGAE? If you're complaining about this month's selection you're just wrong...
