@sakaixx @hoyholyhoy I could make a game about shooting aliens from a helicopter and say it was inspired by Madonna's 3rd tooth - it means nothing. Clearly as a whole, they take inspiration from loads of different games, gamers' feedback and past FF successes. Just saying Skyrim is ridiculous. It's like saying every FPS that exists is heavily inspired by Call of Duty, or Guild Wars 2 is a total WoW clone simply because it's an MMO. It's stupid and ignorant.

@sakaixx @hoyholyhoy Who cares if it was successful, there's been loads of open world RPG's, in fact FF has always had a sense of openness, there's just eliminating the sectioned parts and jamming them together, this is nothing to draw inspiration from something like Skyrim. When the hell did Final Fantasy take inspiration from Call of Duty? Never. Just because a game is popular doesn't mean everyone is trying to do the same thing, and that only those games are what inspire developers.
