@thedeltaforceking: Not sure where you pulled that quote from
The exact quote: "Huang also mentioned that the card is faster than the company's current consumer flagship king, the GeForce GTX Titan.:" Not one mention of it having "twice the performance"
And you fools just getting 970's thinking your rig has beef (which comparatively to consoles still does) but then they drop this and you just wasted your money! Let's hope those people have a good refund policy like I did with my first card back in the day, and man am I glad I waited! GTX 1080 here I come! 4K gaming? I think it just might happen.
@CyberEarth: You must be blind... They clearly stated MULTIPLE times there is no origin story and he's already established. But you know, continue to have no idea what you're talking about.
And what in the hell does Fox have to do with anything?
@billzihang: What an idiot... "If it doesn't happen to me, it doesn't exist!"
RIGHT! I can't believe I'm even humoring your ass-backwards logic.
Forgiving garbage game design because you haven't experienced it or think everyone but you is technologically incompetent because their PC's inevitably run into unexpected and unforeseen issues - due to DEVELOPERS' crappy job. Oh but I suppose it's my fault those Xbox One controller drivers which auto-installed would hang my computer from simply unplugging (which I fixed myself from deleting a previous Windows update). ( https://www.reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace/comments/492cgh/psa_unplugging_a_xbox_one_controller_in_windows/ ) Okay. Oh, and of course, ignore the incline of shitty ports over the years because good ones also come out? Makes total sense. It's like they never happened!
@billzihang: I think you don't understand what you're talking about. Good job, you're old, here's your cookie. Games nowadays on PC have become far more susceptible to game-breaking issues, crashes, memory leaks, etc. In the last year or so alone we've had Arkham Knight, Quantum Break, every DS game, most Ubisoft games, you name it, there are bugs. User incompetence? Sorry buddy, I doubt that, since my rig far exceeds recommended specs for about every game in the last few years, every driver properly installed, all files validated correctly, running on the freshest of boots, updated OS, BIOS, with minimal to no interference, and still get regular crashes in Dark Souls III, Rainbow Six Siege, Street Fighter V - and I am NOT the only one. Where exactly did you see me defending consoles? I fail to see how they are relevant in this conversation.
I'm all for PC gaming, but to act like crashes are "hardly ever" an issue is laughable and beyond ignorant. Get that head out of your ass, this isn't some competition, I want to see PC gaming continue to thrive, but the state it's in with lazy ports and half-assed "early access" games flooding the market, it's probably never looked more in need of some rejuvenation.
