@naki68er: Yea ok then, yet you're the one that can't use punctuation....
For the others, the reason this is different is because Amazon is a store which sells pretty much anything, Apple is a software/hardware company. This would be like Tesco not selling any other brand of tablet as it could affect how their product does.
@mjc0961: Ahh somebody who hasn't tried it but feels he knows how it is..... Well done :/ People said the same about computer games when they first came out, they said it's stupid to sit indoors playing games when you could go out and play. VR for racing sims is amazing, the only other way you can get the same feeling is by actually racing, but that is out of reach for most people.
@virtuasega: It was far from locked at 60fps, very far, and had screen tearing so didn't even use Vsync... VR games need to be Atleast 90fps to work, with no drops at all otherwise it becomes very uncomfortable ; )
I have nothing against him or people that watch lets play videos. I just don't get the appeal, games are made to be played not watched, for me anyway, but maybe I'm old fashioned. Clearly for a lot of people it's not otherwise this guy wouldn't be so popular and making a lot of money. I say good on him, if you can make money from playing games then that's awesome, it's always good to have a job that you are passionate about.
@mesome713: Very. It's not surprising when a 4 man team that make mobile games made the port.... I hope WB have learned from this, look at Mad Max, that was developed in house by Avalanche and worked perfectly and looked stunning at launch. In the end this has cost WB money,
Racing is a great fit for VR. The problem is they'd need to make the graphics pretty bad, as you need a rock steady frame rate for VR to be comfortable, something the past 2 GT games haven't had. Graphics don't need to be fantastic though, as VR is so immersive so it more than makes up for it. I'm still more likely to buy VR for PC, but I look forward to seeing how Sony implement it.
@LordCrash88 What? Inquisition is amazing! I only bought it for PC a week ago and I'm hooked, already played it for 24 hours. The first one was okish, the second was crap, but inquisition is brilliant. The graphics are the best I've seen (pc version) it's funny that Bioware can make better use of the Frostbite engine than Dice can...
For me Inquisition is the biggest shock of the year, no videos or reviews sold it for me. In the end I took a punt and I'm so glad I did. Maybe it's just not your sort of game, but how it can be classed a rubbish is beyond me... : /
I don't see how changing the perspective changes the way you feel. I still know it's a game, and weather you are strabbing someone in first person or third it's the same thing. I haven't felt uncomfortable with my actions, as it's no different in my find. This is probably the first episode I've disagreed with, after all it's still a game and hasn't made me want to become violent, no matter how much I hate my neighbour :P
