never played a bad metroid game (other m wasnt great, but it wasnt bad either) so i believe they know what their doing and if they have backtracking in any new games (which basically goes without saying) i believe theyll do it right

back tracking isnt inherently bad or good, depends on the game and metroid games are always good

i recommend playing them in the order they were created

i dont think there is a more effective way to experience the story, just play em as intended and urll enjoy the games just fine

i love sonic, but i havent played a good sonic game since sonic adventure 2 and that wasnt even too good. makes me sad seeing new sonic games getting crappy reviews and sonic not being a series of games that i can have the faith to purchase without seeing a review anymore.
