i had over 35 ps1 games on the psp and it looked great (not "destroyed")

the vita does do a perfect job too tho. (if you can get used to the r2 and l2 buttons)

i went thru a time where i was bored of my ps3... and my wii, and my 360, and my 3ds, and my vita, and my psp too.

but if i had traded them in, i would had regretted it, cause since then ive also had the urge to play games on them again. e.g.i hadnt played my ps3 in like 3 months, and then i was playing it almost non-stop for the past month)

now if you really want a vita and dont want your ps3, make sure its not just a passing urge, cause if u dont have the money to buy the vita without trading in ur ps3 u prolly wont be able to buy it back either if you find u dont like the vita.

besides, i love the ps3/ps vita connectivity, especially whats been announced (things like the little big planet 2 thing, and the cross buy program), so i would recommend trying to keep ur ps3 and just try and save up for a vita.

idk what everyones hating about star ocean 4, it was great; story was *** but game play wise it was great, but most jrpg games have ****y stories to me (whats with all the focus on friendship, this game in this sense is a prime culprit, i dont think japanese people have many friends :/ ) but i played it on the 360 so maybe its diff by alot idk

SOOOOO, instead of waiting for the vita to have more games your going to shell out the money for something over 5 years old? Thats just faulty logic. Either save up that money until you can get the vita with the games you want or get a vita asap and play some games that you normally wont play. Theres a few games I bet you would enjoy. i didnt think I would like Mutant blobs attack and stardrone but they are two of my favs so far

damann22

actually ur logic is faulty, cause not only is age nothing but a number, but even if one was to play every passably good game on the vita, thats less than 20 psvita only (non-psp games i mean) titles and thats roundin up. im loving my vita, but if ya cant or can barely afford it, selling ur hair to get one with its few games seems like a waste. handhelds on the whole seem to be pumpin out fewer and fewer gems. 3ds doesnt have many "must own"s either, atleast their in the works. no word on a mgs (edit: actually there is a MGS on the vita, awesome) or gta on the vita makes me a sad panda :( but that "cross buy" thing makes up for it, and i know good games will come, just give it time; plus ps1 classics are coming :)

****y games will make any setting horrible

I.E. FF13 was a ****y game, and its setting was boring because of it. dosent matter where it was, a crappy syfy hell or w/e it was, it wasnt gonna be fun in a bad, boring game.

this thread and everyone agreeing with this threads title is... well, use ur imagination.

any good game will make any setting good. no good setting will make any game good by itself.

i didnt love red dead's setting cause it by itself was great, but because the game was awesome and made the setting awesome.

setting doesnt really matter to me, i only notice i inherently dislike overly syfy type locals only because the people that usually occupy these settings are whiney little **** or are pretentious.

i dont care if a game takes place in a bull's ****, if a games good, well obviously the developers made it work.
