tell that to the unkempt killing fields full of dead waitresses; which is why they outlawd smoking in diners, and eventually everywhere else.Other than the annoying smell second hand smoke health problems are wildly exaggerated.

cocaine would be fine in moderation, should we trust people to restrain themselves? if not, why is it ok to stop cocaine use and not booze?[QUOTE="i-rock-socks"][QUOTE="konvikt_17"]
but in moderation it can be healthy.
which was his whole point.
anything can be bad if you overindulge.
but when used in moderation, is just fine.
konvikt_17
who the hell mentioned cocaine?
your a dumbass for even comparing cocaine to alcohol.
seeing how childish your response was, i doubt you can comprehend that.
lol call others names, i guess that means ur right  the fact is YOU dont really now what ur talking about, im not gonna go into cocaine's entire rich history, but if u werent retarded (i assume) you would now that comparison is more than justified. but w/e, talk **** thatll end the debate... i think ill try it. how can i talk **** in a way that ur monkey brain can understand it... it'll come to me.just because some of its side effects are good doesnt mean its healthy, but seeing how childish ur response was, i doubt u can comprehend that.[QUOTE="i-rock-socks"][QUOTE="TheWalkingGhost"]I think you're an idiot. Alcohol in moderation is not only fine, but healthy. Cigs are not, in any sense.konvikt_17

and i dont smoke, and i think smoking is one of the stupid things people can do, but i believe its everyones right and yadda yadda yadda.
but my one and only gripe about the BAN on cig commercials and heavy regulations on the ads that are allowed, is that for whatever reason, they dont use the same rules for alchol, which is arguably just as dangerous, and if not, more so.
i dont like either, but i dont think its right to hinder both, let alone one and not the other, which is just hypocritical.
like i said, it doesnt really affect me, its just a matter of principle .
what do you think?

tell ur liver that
also, hows it anyones buisness what others decide to do. and im not go into details on that point cause... well who cares (everyone already knows anything i could say about that)
but more importantly, what kind of fairy dream world are you living in were you can say with a straight face "its okay in moderation". the amount you would have to drink to hypothetically have no ill effects and get the "good" effects is less than a sippy cup (depending on what ur drinking). its like saying cocaine is fine because if you take it in moderation it can be beneficial. unfortunately we live in the real world and most people dont even know how much "moderate" is.
you can say all day "well, in moderation" but in our reality, "moderation" is more hypothetical than alcohols positive effects.

an ad is an ad
i dont care about this anymore than i do about any other ad, i dont see how its even news worthy.
not including commercials that make me wanna punch people (like that levis commercial... its so hip  or those smirnoff ones that only piss me off because thats consider okay, but advertising cigars in the same way isnt, in america atleast... oh and because its ******* stupid) they can advertise where ever they want and its fine by me.
I'm somewhat mad. I just traded in Oblivion GOTY steelcaseedition, Godfather 2 and NHL 12 which they sell combined for 85 bucks. I got 19. They're making over 400% profit on me!
I got GTA4 with it, so I'm not too mad.
brucewayne69
since you said "bucks" im assuming america. no way in hell their sellin those games for 85$
each of those games will prolly go for less than 20, if they even sell. (lets find out *beep bop boop*)
oblivion 10$ godfather 2 17$ nhl 12 27$
54$ worth of games that prolly will just sit there, and you get 19$
not as bad as you make it out to be, they gotta take ur games but you dont have to sell em. if you really feel so victimized selling old games, and a sports title (which i assume the new ones coming soon so they prolly have 100's o people trading in there old 2012 versions to get the most cash possible, so gamestop's just gonna have 100's of copies of a game they wont sell), then dont sell em. i sell games to em as well and i dont like the prices sometimes, but i understand them. if ur not gonna play the game anymore, and unless they are actually trying to screw u over, be glad ur getting anything.
and dont forget they gotta pay their employees. the "400% profit" isnt going directly into daddy warbuck's wallet.
