Talk to her more about you earning that money. I don't care if she's your mom, that's just unfair. You didn't do all that work so she could sit there and leech from it.

Not surprising in the least, I enjoyed NSMB immensely.

I use a set of rechargable AA Duracell batteries and they work perfectly fine. They seem to hold their charge well and when I do need to charge, just plug em in overnight. No need to constantly buy batteries, just get a good charger and rechargables that work for everything rather than a Wii specific charger.

Now for Motion Control, let me just point out that aside from Wii Sports (Resort), I don't recall playing any of my Wii games by waving my arms around or standing up and jumping around. Heck, I can play Wii Sports Resort sitting down just fine. I'm usually in a perfectly relaxed state for all my Wii games and the only motions I need to do are just twisting, tilting or flicking the Wiimote or nunchuck. I have no idea what games you're playing or how you're playing them but seriously, unless you're playing sports games or dance games, waving your arms around should not be a problem, neither is having to stand up to play.

Lastly, i'll just say that i'm perfectly satisfied with the games available now and even more excited for what's coming.

Still, if he earned money to buy a Wii at 15 years old (Something I never could have done), she should respect that and let him enjoy it. She can easily buy a Wii for herself, but if she only watches Netflix on it, she should just use the computer. She might give him food and shelter, but I'm sure when she was his age and earned 200 bucks, she'd want to be able to enjoy it. His mom didn't buy that Wii, and therefore shouldn't be hogging it up.

LOL, you should have never told her about the Wii. If you bought it, I see no problem in telling her not to use it anymore. Or if your a pansy, buy another one.

I like my sensor bar under. My TV's kinda big so I'd have to stand up if I had it above it. And playing games like CoD Reflex online for 6 hours straight wouldn't be too fun standing up.
