I've owned my Wii since March (Late to the party, I know), and haven't experienced any problems so far. And it's funny, because back in 2007, I owned an Xbox 360 for two months before it got RROD. So I'm going to stick to Nintendo when it comes to good, reliable console gaming.

omg...look at the back of your box. It says what controllers are compatible for that game.

LOL. I was going to say that. Personally, I love pointer controls.

I'm not over-hyping it, but I think the first Conduit was decent. Definitely left a lot of room to improve, and that's what sequels are for. So far, their addressing my major problems with the original.

His quote was pretty much just PR spin, just like when Nintendo said people don't care aboute online gaming a few years before that. You can't take anything like that seriously. I'm sure Nintendo's next console will have at least similiar graphics to its competitors. They did what they had to do though. They could have made a system that more directly competed with the HD ones but it would have cost them more market share. Having a more powerful console didn't help the Gamecube or N64. They made a creative cheap system that made Nintendo stand from the others. Overall it helped the industry though. Both Microsoft and Sony were too worried about horsepower and multimedia features. Not that I don't enjoy that stuff but most non nerd/forum posters don't really care that much about graphics and don't understand how to use or what the multimedia features are. Now Nintendo is back and fully prepared for a great new system in a few years. Personally I really like the Wii though, I've enjoyed it as much as any other Nintendo system.

Well the ps3 has heavy rain can't be more innovative than that. The 360 has Halo which is one of the most well put together game made. Quality>Quantity Am i doing it right?genaroll

What are you talking about? Sony has more first party games than Nintendo, so your argument is irrelevant. IMO Nintendo has better quality of their first person games. I'm not a fan boy, I like Sony too, but I think Nintendo's ahead by a bit. Just my opinion. Troll me if you want.

This thread is so good

I nominate this thread for the best of 2010 for the Wii

It's all inclusive and laid out beautifully

I agree completely. It's very organized, and I didn't even know about a couple of these games. Most excited for Monster Hunter Tri, though. Hopefully this will spark a chain of ORPG's for the Wii.

I wouldn't waste my time with Oblivion if I were you, complete bag of suck compared to Morrowind. I mean, it was good, as all Elder Scroll games are, but Morrowind had everything right. Oblivions leveling system is horrible, dungeons are boring, it's hard to get good loot, and when every monster and npc is your level, there's no challenge. Oblivion is just not as good. However, if your looking for a game that could give Morrowind a run for it's money, I'd suggest Fallout 3. It's fantastic, (still not as good as Morrowind, though) definitely worth your time. So yeah, that's just my two cents, but it seems everyone else here agrees with me :)

I've never really liked the computer anyways. Here's the thing. To play any of those sweet games, you have to have a sweet computer. Most likely meaning, you'll spend over 1000$ on the thing, and end up worrying about viruses, a good mouse, graphics card, yadayadayada... To me, why spend money on a computer when you could buy a console, which comes with everything needed and a controller, for less money? Doesn't make sense. That's just my opinion though

Because GoW isn't really that great... I mean Halo2 was epic, a new chapter in gaming history. It's what started Xbox Live. More fans, more money, more advertisements.... Halo was off the scale. Gears of War 1 was good, but not nearly up to par with Master Chief and Friends. Gears of War 2 had horrible multiplayer, everyone using Chainsaws and Shotguns, buggy, and way too much gore. You have to think about all the kids that play Xbox Live. Alot of the older players don't like the kids, but they pay the same amount of money as you do, and they should be treated with the same respect. "The gore will give little kids nightmares." That was a lousy statement, don't talk down about them. I'm 16, but I understand how it feels to be made fun of for being youg. Anyways, like I said, GoW just isn't as good as the Halo series, with gore or without.
