SO may games have been left out of the GOTY disscussion, heres a few ...

Braid    --meh maybe asa good DL game

Super Smash Brothers Brawl  ---was fun for like 3 weeks

Civilization Revolution   ---solid, butnot wildly known

World of Goo   ---i dont really know

NHL 09  --sports game, they really arent knon to go in there

Burnout Paradise   ---good, butmany will agree its not worth goty

The World Ends With You  --pretty solid, i can see it as a portable contender

Professor Layton and the Curious Villiage  --idk

Final Fanstasy IV   ---remake of a remake of a remake...Its been done like 3 or 4 times now.

Patapon  --its a contender on some goty

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII  --It should be up there, comparing the hype ad it deleiverd

No More Heroes-idk

Sins of a Solar Empire -idk

Dead Space  --its not up there as goty...thats weird

 

Here are others peoples suggetions:

Devil May Cry 4  --old (wasnt ths 2007?) not sure

Mirror's Edge  --should be goty contender

Fable II  ---meh, it was solid, but will easly get owned by fallout, this can go ethier way.

Prince of Persia---should be a contender

Persona4  --ehh..

Goldenaxe: Beast Rider---i heard bad things

Lost Odyssey --meh

Valkyria Chronicles --i think western views see this to easternish...

Most perform the same.

Yet the PS3 version may sometimes require 1-4 gigs of installation where as the 360 version doesnt, and requires maybe a couple megabytes to save your game.

A mandatory install to get roughly the same performance as the 360 counterpart says something.............

instal for quicker load time. Plus i dont get the problem, its a instal, so what if it takes 3gigs, i got like 80 to spare, not to mention i can pay 100 bucks or 50 (off the truck) to get 300gig...

Its different formats and they require different things..it sometimes gets annoying, but i dont mind

I think it should be a 15-20 $ download (or disc since it take up alot of space on 20g units)

ive been talking to people, they say KZ2 owns R2 in everyway.

i was thinking r2 may be better, but who knows now.

It doesnt determine quality, it doesnt benefit us as gamers.

But it benefits us as fanboys.

Its basically a way to say "My console of choice performs better then yours in the real world" and "In the real world, not a place (forum) populated by a vocal minority, is where my console of choice is more popular and preferred".

Its "fanboy warfare". Sales help reinforce that your opinion that your console of choice is the better one. I dont make the rules. Thats how we roll.

In the real world, once again, i play the exclusives meant to my system as you get the exclusives toawrds yours..

personally i think sales are overrated...

obvoiusly wii attracts kids and parents will buy it for them

Xbox was out longer, it should have more sales

PS3 has blu-ray, it attracts to movie lovers as well as game lowers.

i own a ps3...as much as it would be great it that was true...yeh well its not..

as for 36 0and ps3...well its a toss up..personally i think ps3 will win since sony products tend to have a long shelf life (look at ps2)..

Some games work better as single player and some work better as multiplayer. I enjoy a good single player more since those are getting rarer now.tmntPunchout
