On my 360 i've only recently been playing shooters such as CoD4 and the Orange Box which areamazing games but because they're released so close together I just feel kind of bored with them and need some distraction away from killing dudes for awhile. I've been looking forward to AC for awhile now but only a few reviews have given it 9+ and the general feeling i'm getting from the GT forums is that it is more of a rent than a purchase but my problem is that I can't rent games really as the 360 isn't mine and I only get to play for a couple of hours a day so I wouldn't get much playing done if I did rent it. My next big gme purchase is going to be Mass Effect but that is another shooter and won't be until xmas anyway so what do people on here think? Should I rent it even if I do only get to play just abit? or is it really worth owning or purhaps just avoid althogether? Thanks for any help

Dude an analyst said that the DS would be dropping the GBA port, no one from Nintendo but I don't even see this happening as new games being released use it such as Face Training that comes with a camera that plugs into the GBA slot. Nintendo have always boasted about how their newer handhelds are compatible with older games and the Wii is the defining factor in this as it is backwards comptible with every Nintendo home console and Sega and Neo-Geo. Nintendo are already making a huge profit on ever console sold. They aren't even breaking even, they're making a profit which means they can afford to drop the price unlike Sony and Microsoft who both sell at huge loss as they have newer technology in them thus costing more and rely on software sales so even though the Gamecube didn't sell as many units as Microsoft or Sony, they still madea profit on each of the Gamecubes sold which means they still made more money they Microsoft.

I don't want to say you're wrong so I'll just say you're nowhere near correct.

Gaming isn't as popular in Japan as it once was and numbers for all consoles are very low compared to the US.

For the Wii to explode like it did was amazing and the platform of choice will always be the DS in Japan. Even with this going on Nintendo controls 75% of all gaming in Japan right now.

Add in the fact that less then 60% of all Japanese homes have internet and less then 40% of Wii owners have their Wii online.

Also remember that their holiday shopping season starts later then ours.

I wasn't saying the Wii was a fad, I was just opening it up to discussion.

Hopefully Super Mario Galaxy sells amazingly well in Europe and Nintendo finally realises that we are important and release games on time as tons have been pushed back to next year :(

I live in the the UK and we don't pay $50 dollars for a game, at the current exchange rates we pay $82 (£39.99)fraz1776
I live in the UK aswell and game prices are a rip off. I bought Skate for 360 in Gamestation the day it was released and it was £40 but then the next week it went up to £45.

Since the Wiis launch in Japan, the Wii's sale numbers week by week have been dropping at quite a large rate. At launch and for a few months after the Wii was selling around 70,000 - 100,00 even with shortages but now its more around 25,000, 35,000 with recent figure released. The only games to see any major action on the Wii in Japan since teh console launched have been Wii Sports and Wii play which I believe both sold over a million and with the complete flop of recent titles such as Zak and Wiki (10,000 sold) and with the disappointed sales of Super Mario Galaxy (335,000 after 2 weeks), is this a sign that the Wii was just a fad in Japan? If not how can Nintendo turn this sales slump around if a major Mario title can't even sell huge numbers?

Why is everyone so paranoid of being banned for every little thing?

Vanguard here. I like the combo of having the soldiers strength and the powers of the adept although obviously there is a balance so niether will be as powerful as just being a soldier or adept

Good concept but why recommend several 7-7.5 games? And some sections are very short such as fighting where as others are overly long like sports.
