@kiggor: I do. Remember when they said they would make this, only until they feel their last game exceeded FF7 quality? Well:

1)That hasnt happened

2)They lost the original 3d renders, for the prerendered backgrounds

3)The combat system erases many Materia. This is part of the game called Final Fantasy 7.

Thats why, this game does not deserve any fanboy hype. Anyone who is a true fan of this game's intricacies and knows anything about development is shaking their head.

@kiggor: I suggest playing the original game. Like, get to know it... Midgard is 10 percent of the game. Maybe less if you factor in all the materia combos (wont be in this game), enemy skills (wont be in this game), and master materia (also wont be in this game) as content. It has taken half a decade for this.

@jecht187: You arent going to be able to play this game like you did in the past. After this, the real game starts. Materia combos, 3d rendered Nibilheim, Black Mountain, Junon, End crater, that cave with the big moving weapon eye in the ice, Wutai (you think they will put the effort into recreating this town?) , etc etc etc.

Ill eat my words if I see it, but everything that we all have seen would not compare to a game with all the original content of the game. Sure they will add, but what they subtract is what will kill this.

edit: ****ing Temple of the ancients, that big snowy area, that big skeleton area where ****** dies. The submarine sidequest (where you get a different sub)... how much of this do you think will be in the game?
