so i'm about to take the plunge [oh lord] and buy the 360. now the one thing that i'm worried about is the 3 red lights. i don't wanna send the box to MS and wait a month to get my 360 back. i'd rather exchange with the store i got it from.

so i was wondering, what does in store warranty cost at places like Futureshop and Best Buy? preferrably i'd like to know canada-specific prices, but even if u guys could tell me about american prices, i can make a guess off of it.

thanks!

peace!

isn't that illegal though? so if it _is_ euthanasia... u could be killed... and i figure we shouldn't discuss killing our 360s cuz if MS gets to read too many of ppl saying that they will, they might ship out "repaired"onesasopposedto"replaced"ones

i don;t own one, but i figure that it'd be madness to risk ur perfectly-working 360 for some features on a 360 that might die on u. be happy with what u have, unless it dies out naturally!

heya guys!

im planning on buying the 360 some time this or next month, and i've been having questions since the thought of purchase crossed my mind! now, with these new announcements by MS, more questions are forming in my head:

1)i currently have an SDTV, planning to buy HD with HDMI input. it's clear that the 360 pro now has HDMI aswell, but i'm worried that the pro's box will have _only_ the HDMI cable. I need those standard A/V cables for starters! can't get an HDTV for another few months! So what i was wondering is, does anybody know if the new HDMI 360 Pro ships with the standard A/V cables in the box (i mean the same one that used to ship with the pro before this update)? or am i gonna have to buy those standard cables from the shop?

hmm...just one for now....well, anyways, if anybody could answer, i'd be extremely greatful!

thanks!

Hey guys.

If u don't mind, i have a simple request that i need to get checked before i go ahead and take the plunge (buy the 360).
It's not gonna take u too long t odo this, so if u could please just take a minute out:

would u mind checking ur AC adapter, and just telling me if it supports multi-voltage? Basically, what i mean is that, somewhere on the big box of a power source, there should be something written like "INPUT: 110V" or "INPUT:220V" or "INPUT:110V/220V " like on a sticker or somewhere on the 4 sides?

if u guys could please tell me what ur ones say, i'll know whether i should buy one or not.

thank you very much

could be for real... not like it'll cost microsof much to add a coat of black paint on the 360. Unfortunately, the black 360 would be stupid if cooling problems aren't fixed first. If u don't know why it'll be stupid: black absorbs more light (and hence more IR radiation = heat) that white, or any other colour. If the system is overheating at WHITE... just imagine what'll happen if it's pitch black or whatnot. but i think this question belongs to the Project Zephyr thread? don't know if colour and the rumoured XBox are linked, but nonetheless
