@Iconoclysm .....or maybe the dismal failure of the Classic NES launch has investors worried if Nintendo is up for a flawless launch of the new Switch (which early specs are showing is greatly underpowered)
hmmmmm........Nintendo can not manipulate the release of a download and create a fake shortage/hype and the download is quickly given the average review it deserves. Karma sucks, doesn't it Nintendo ?
I don't know which is worse.......Nintendo short baking these so they would somehow be relevant this holiday season since the Wii U has been dead for over a year or sites like Gamespot running click-bait stories like this knowing full well they are peddling unicorn farts and 99.99987% of their readers stand no chance in getting a NES Classic through this avenue.
Gamespot sounds like a friend trying to set you up with their ugly cousin and all they can say is "She has a GREAT personality. She is sweet.....really sweet."
@eliminatorpaige Wrong. SHORTAGE creates scalpers. Why isnt a PS4 hard to get? It is actually more in demand than the NES Classic. Because there are PLENTY of them. This is the perfect opportunity for Nintendo not to have to worry about getting an X million unit installed base and do what they do best......create a buzz at the consumers expense. And with the Wii U being the biggest flop since the VirtuaBoy they really, really , really need buzz.
