Proof of how tariffs work. People on the left have been saying since day one that the tariffs will be paid for by the American consumer. Anyone that has the least understanding of business knows that businesses were searching for alternate sources day one of learning of impending tariffs. Smart business people know they can not pass a 25% increase on to the consumer or the consumer will either A) not buy or B) find a less expensive competitor. It is common sense. That is the beauty of the free market...… it will always work itself out and in the end the consumer is always the judge, jury and executioner.
@thermalcold: It will use the 8mm MiniDVD discs like the Gamecube used. Since PlayStation is copying the idea for NES Classic and SNES Classic, they figured they would just copy some more......
Game selection is going to be key with this one. Offering 20 games comes out to $5 per game but if you are only stoked for half of them then you are shelling out $10 per game. Just don't see this selling as well as the Nintendo offerings ….
Haven't seen this much bitching since the launch of the Switch when everyone said Nintendo would be out of the hardware business within two years because the Switch would flop HUGE. How'd that work out?
