Considering half-life2 was released on xbox, ran like and looked like crap, and then was re-released on the 360, that means absolutely nothing.

Well it shows us that the PC is in the between stages between this gen and next gen. Which it is.

No it shows generation leaps are agruable there's no set standard for a generational leap it depends on a lot of factors, the original xbox was the most powerful console on the market and could barely run Half Life 2 with very bad graphics, a current gen console can only still run Half Life 2 at 1280x720 2xAA low AF at 30fps.

You could port Uncharted 2 to the original xbox if you wanted it would just obviously not look anywhere near as good.

Because most PC gamers still have DVD drives and there's no real need to upgrade to bluray as a PC gamer I couldn't care less that my games come in 2 dvds I'm going to install them anyway.

Well it won't be if they delay next gen consoles into infinity but I seriously doubt the next playstation/xbox will be released with a GPU more powerful than a gtx580 even if they come out in 2013/14, even if they did it wouldn't be much more powerful, and on PC right now you can use 2 GTX590 if you want.. so it's not an argument PC has already stepped into next gen territory and beyond if you have the money.

To not be MW3, be something new and creative instead with an imaginative level design rather than a bunch of scripted corridor sequences, to have enough large multiplayer maps with vehicles, to not be made for slow aim assisted noobs.

The reason why you liked ME 2 is probably because it's more of a shooter than anything else, WRPG are not made for the impatient and trigger happy, they are not suppoused to play as shooters or hack'n slash games otherwise they wouldn't be RPGs, you're suppoused to somewhat hit or miss because of your stats/enemy stats of course, otherwise you might as well not have any stats.

And pigs will fly really soon as a result of evolution.

The UC pic you used was as chopped as hamburger. Lets put real UC2 screen captures up for comparison. Ive played BOTH and BOTH look great.

What do you mean chopped? It has some compression artefacts just as the Crysis one does, but that doesn't take anything away from the astounding difference in draw distances and level of detail that is worlds apart, if anything with sharper uncompressed images the difference will become even more noticeable to be fair the Crysis screenshot is even more compressed.

Winning at what ? Personally I think both consoles are pretty even at just about everything but I prefer the 360 catalog.
