Some people here are saying that how the track looks its not important because you drive the cars not the track (ofcourse they say that because gt5 tracks look like crap) but i would like to know where do your cars race on and if you're looking at the car while you race how do you see the turns coming that argument is just redicoulous

So cut the crap already i've played the demo and the only thing that looks really nice are the cars the road textures look like **** most of them the backgrownds are pretty but they are 2D fotos nothing more.

The framerate is locked at 30 fps on the xbox 360 so no one will ever know if it could go beyond that the 8600gt is going higher than that but theres alot of screen tearing too, in case you guys dont know bioshock is locked at 30 fps on the xbox too but theres an option to unlock framerate and it goes well into 60 fps range most of the time.

All games use almost the full power of any console its just a matter of how well a game uses it.

Then though one can buy an 8600 gt for less than an xbox 360 a graphics card alone cant play any games so the value goes to the console.

On the ps3 subject xbox 360 gpu is indeed quite a bit more powerful then the rsx

I dont think you can connect your vga to a dvi unless that dvi is somehow prepared to accept analog signal.

I have my xbox connected to a 19" samsung monitor this monitor has got both dvi and vga so its easy for me to have both connected. The sound goes through the digital optical out to my 6.1 reciver.
