@Ice-Cube: Going from ps4 to ps4 pro is like.....going from HD 7850 to an r9 290. Which back then were $250 apart and that was considered excellent bang for the buck. So yes, technically speaking it is around a 200% video card upgrade and it is incredible bang for the buck. Buy some air pillows, pay $2 at your local post office for a box and sell it off. Its totally worth the effort.
@Legend_of_Link: you gotta admit.....some of the reviews were blatantly perfect lol. Nonetheless, GOW 4 and Sony's other AAA cinematic single player titles are so refreshing among the genre's scarce library. Hope they continue to keep at it since Microsoft clearly only wants to publish mediocre multiplayer titles over quality single player experience 9/10 times.
@Redblaze27: this whole article is blind assumption. The ps2/ps3/ps4 use vastly different hardware. Atm, AMD develops both xbox and ps. Xbox has used AMD for a long time thus why each console was compatible with another. I don't think that's changing next gen. Ps5 will likely use Ryzen/Navi which can emulate ps4 just like X360 to x1. Ps4 pro released 2 years ago. I would say 2020 sounds about right for release though.
@fivepercent: your user name speaks for itself, you are the 5% who feels that way lmao. Microsoft could of added Bayonetta/Nier level game to it's scarce library of exclusives. Nier and Persona 5, both which are Japanese and typically neglected during Game Awards nearly won GOTY. PS4/3ds are famous among gamers for its vast library of RPGs.
@shreduhsoreus: i dont even use AA at 1440p. I think the recommended is all right for launch. I am sure it will be a lot better down the line. At the moment people running 1060 and up should be able to pull off 60 FPS 1080p or higher at PC launch.
I recall FF13-3 at launch was MUUUUCCHH better than the console version. But i guess we are comparing a 2010 engine running on X360/ps3 ported to PC vs 2016's Luminous running on x1/ps4 to PC. Sigh we will see. Square hasn't ported anything from luminous yet so we just have to hold tight.
trying to grab a new console this year. But honestly i am losing interest little by little for the switch. They really need to announce and CONFIRM the line up for at least the first 2 quarters of 2018.
