This is a good example to follow, but no one will follow it. DLC will only get worse and publishers have only themselves to blame when people turn to piracy because of it. The last game I bought was FF13, years ago, because they promised no DLC. I've yet to play FF13-2 with it's $100 worth of DLC.
Such a shame. Tecmo destroys Ninja Gaiden and is about to Crapcom the hell out of DOA, and the game Itagaki's been working on for years is as good as dead. No good news has come out of 2012.
It actually makes me sad to see what gaming's turning into. Publishers segregating the fanbase from day one with this limited edition map nonsense, it's really disgusting. I would never give money for such a thing, even if it was my favorite series (which Halo is far from)
