http://4onegaming.com/cd-projekt-red-responds-to-ea-buyout-rumour/
"According to a posting on Darkside of Gaming’s website, an employee of CD Projekt RED contacted the gaming website, suggesting that EA were visiting The Witcher 3 developer’s Polish studio to have talks. The ‘informant’ also sent a copy of his pay slip to prove that he worked for the company, but this could have easily been manufactured.
The informant said “I’m employee of CDProjekt Red and I have some bad news to share with you. Our management is probably talking with Electronic Arts about potential take over. Electronic Arts representatives are currently visiting our studio and meeting with top management. We are not going to release any game soon, so for sure it’s not about any publishing deal, so the only possible reason for EA guys being here is that they want to buy us.”
In the wake of the internet going crazy, it turns out that EA may not in fact be looking to buy out CD Projekt RED, as Community Lead & Website Co-ordinator for the studio, Marcin Momot responded to a fan concern on Twitter.
If EA approached CD Projekt RED, we wouldn’t be surprised, but with Bioware already under their wing, a studio known for its western RPG brilliance, they don’t necessarily need another RPG developer in their portfolio, but who knows what the future holds? It’s unknown whether EA have actually been in touch with the studio, and this rumour could just be a waste of everyone’s time."
Thanks for the some of you who played my Grass Land world. Still waiting on someone to beat the Castle finale, btw. anyone up for the challenge?
Anyway, I had a rest day yesterday of building. Spent most of my Mario Maker time playing others' levels here on the forums and elsewhere forums. Some impressive stuff.
I'll try to complete a level a day for the next 4 days and then upload my official World 2: Soda Plains. This time, it will be in the SMW style. Gonna try and fit in a proper Ghost House stage, and again, another super hard castle finale. Hope those who enjoyed my Grass Land are looking forward to Soda Plains.
NOTICE:
on Grass Land 1-3 (Underground)... there is a "leap of faith" some people have been having trouble with. i made a mistake and did not include a coin trail, indicating a successful jump. take note of the pipe trio with a cliff preceding them... the screen cuts off with no visible ground on the other side. wasnt meant to be like that. bad design on my part. get your running start and just go for it!
Wanted to say I re-uploaded my Grass Land 1-3 (Underground) level, so it has a different course id. I fixed the "leap of faith" and added a coin trail. here are all the proper tags:
Grass Land 1 - 1: 76D6 - 0000 - 0022 - DCC6
Grass Land 1 - 2: ABE2 - 0000 - 002A - 6722
Grass Land 1 - 3 (Underground): 20F2 - 0000 - 003A - 03A8
Grass Land 1- 4 (Castle): FD50 - 0000 - 0033 - 0394
Glad so many people have been enjoying my Grass Land world. I've gotten comments saying they feel like actual Mario levels, which really, is the best compliment I can get. I've already started on World 2, Soda Plains. I'll be sure to post them here as soon as they are all finished. But you can play them early if you follow me in the game, as they are in my profile.

...by making a thread and doing the exact same thing with the PlayStation brand??
"Sony fanboys are the absolute worst." Yeah, but unbeknownst to you, it has nothing to do with the brand they follow, and everything with the fact that all fanboys act the same way.
But I do admit, there is obviously way more PS fanboys here in SW and it is quite annoying. But that is simply because of the numbers. Most "gamers" are fanboys these days. And most people have a PS4 than any other console. Add the two together and you have an tiresome and unbalanced ecosystem. Xbox fanboys have all but vacated the internet forums. All is left are true gamers to suffer through their shit.
@MBirdy88 said:Trend threads are not allowed. ..
I laughed at the first 2 sentences and stopped reading. EVERY faction does this, its SYSTEM WARS for a reason.
So no, no fanboys are worse than any others.
But peasantry just have it worse, end of.
It's funny how you knowledge all fanboys are equally bad, when you contribute to the rabble just the same with you PC fanboyism in every post. Or... do you think the urban definition of the "PC elitist" somehow sets you apart form the rest of the "peasant" fanboys?
Congratulations, you identified a double standard that I made no effort to mask. have a gold star... you are one of the smart ones.
the point of the double standard is that it is hypocrisy and stupid. you openly admit to hypocrisy and stupidity, and proudly? no, sir... you get the gold.
Jesus. You fanboys are dumb. Never even played a Halo game before, and some of you already declaring it won't be as good as Random PS4 Shooter, 'cause... because. Didn't even watch the video either, "I stopped after 30secs." Wow. You're a person I will enjoy having gaming discussion with on the internet. Too scared to even watch a 4 min 30 sec gameplay trailer even.
Looks awesome. Can't wait to play the campaign, my personal most excitable part of the Halo franchise.
"1080p sometimes?"
How about... 60fps all the time. I'd much rather a dynamic resolution system (smart) and maintain a smooth, crisp frame rate on and off -line, unlike some of the other big games that claim performance superiority.

Oh, don't i know it. Ive had idiots spout nonsense about the "meta game," to completely justify the bias that goes on here. then he had the nerve to tell me i should leave, when aparently he didnt know how internet forums work, lol.
dont know if you saw it before... but check out this thread i made about the different animals here on SW:

Mario Maker is so far above every other game released this year. The sheer brilliance that some members of the community have showed thus far is insane.
Often times people have commented on the fact that the NSMB series was lacking in difficulty, and that problem is solved through simply searching through only expert levels. Some of these levels even have better game designs than some Nintendo programmed stages.
This is like having and infinite amount of Mario levels at your fingertips. This game has honestly given me that, "One more game" feeling that I haven't felt in decades. Bravo Nintendo! Bravo!
You don't compare to any of the other big games that have come out this year at all. Have you even played Witcher, Batman or Phantom Pain? Or are you just waving your Nintendo fanboy flag in excitement because it has been almost a year since the Wii U got anything?
Not sure if serious?
I don't wave a Nintendo flag. I play good games. As you can see I own the Phantom Pain and Ori. I have yet to play The Witcher as I've said, but clearly your reading skills aren't up to par. Arkham Knight was subpar compared to City, so it was a step down for the franchise. I also own Bloodborne and many Wii U games. Plus last I checked Splatoon came out this year for the Wii U, so I don't understand where you get the idea that Wii U hasn't had ANY games since last year.
So now that you look foolish go sit down and let the big boys have a discussion.
Entirely serious. Wasn't accusing you of being a fanboy. Just asking. All I was saying is you didn't really acknowledge the other big games of the year, as if you never played them. As for myself, goty is tied between MGSV and Mario as of right now. Still need more time with both. If the end of MGSV doesnt leave a bad taste in my mouth, that will probably be a show-in for me. But that also depends on how long Mario Maker will engage me after launch.--If I am still playing it like crazy after a month or two, then I'll have to tip my had to that. But it was a little hyperbole to say "nothing comes close." Still... opinions and all that.
