I'd say PS3 seeing how many Xbox 360 "exclusives" are coming out on PC. If you have a good pc you might as well get those games on pc instead of 360. Also, since you mentioned FF I'll inform you that FFXII is coming out on PS3.

I have considered this too and it makes sense, although on the other hand it seems 360 offers better online action right now(it would be nice to have something like socom 2 which I spent some 300 ours on and 360 has some realistic shooters kinda like that)

what are the release dates for ff13 and the major rpgs for 360? Are there any other highly anticipated exclusive rpgs for ps3? If I am to get a console right now I want to have some games out soon, otherwise Ill just wait.

hey, I am an owner of a ps1 and ps2 who for the last 3 years has been playing pc games exclusively. Right now I am deciding between ps3 and x360 as I want to have an alternative that will let me play games that usually don't come out for pc. I plan on getting one of these consoles in a month or so, so I some imput on just which one to get. I am especially interested in an unbiased opinion from somebody who owns both.

Some things I'm looking for:1. excellent graphics and sound, since I have a 50 inchhdtv 2. good racing, advanture, rpg and action games,3. great online mutiplayer since I am almost entirely an online gamer.

I watched all 3 conferences and I was not impressed with any of them. Both ps3 and 360 seem to have a couple of great looking games, but not enough to actually justify the purchase. One thing that really dissapointed me was that sony did not show any rpgs, while 360 has lost odyssey and mass effect that are looking great (I really loved ff games). Also, can anybody summarize the exclusives for both consoles that are expected to be out in the next 6 months of so? Thx
