Humans in the cold blackness of space... what a pointless waste of money and time.

It's all but certain, there's another huge rock lurking somewhere out there, and It's just a matter of time before it hits earth (again) Technology is still nowhere close to being able to stop a trillion ton rock, the size of Everest, moving 15 miles a second.

Survival is one of the human basic instincts. Wouldn't it make more sense NOT to have all are eggs in one basket? (i.e not having our whole species on one rock that will eventually not be here anymore)

Which leads me to another human instinct, the need to explore. If there was never a desire to want to see what was beyond the oceans, humanity would have never evolved, and we all would still be drawing on cave walls somewhere.

That's why space EXPLORATION is essential. to evolve. Plus, you'll never know, there may be better, even more beautiful places to live, If you don't get out of the "blackness" of your house, and touch some grass! LMAO!

*SIGH* Millennial -_-

The main shows I actually liked (in order of best to worst) are the only ones I care about, and wouldn't mind a revival.

The Punisher (going to be in, or making an appearance on the D+ Dare Devil series, No word on If Disney will be reviving the his actual show)

Dare Devil (getting a revival on D+)

Luke Cage

... then why make more Fast & Furious movies? They suck. All went down from the first movie, and the last one I even remotely enjoyed was Fast 4.

@fbplayer1086: IT isnt a remake...its based on the book. And the other two movies suck.

Actually, the original "It" 2 part TV mini-series was based off the book, The two "it" movies in 2017 & 2019 were in fact remakes of the 1990 TV mini-series (based off the book)

MGS master collection isn't priced in the article "$$" correctly.

When I first seen it, my terrible eyes saw $8 ($60) thought it was a great price for a newly released title, went over to steam right away to buy it, but seen it was $48 (I think it was) hard pass for 2 decade plus games Lol

@j3diknightdave: My guy is correct. For mainstream audiences before Ironman most people's Marvel knowledge was, Spiderman, Xmen, and maybe Hulk. Actual comic fans are oblivious to why the MCU became so popular as it did.

It was a snowball effect. Comic fan friends, tell a semi fan friend, that tell an average friend and so on up to Endgame. They just happened to be good movies so enjoyment. Ironman was just the First character introduced so nostalgic to the journey for mainstream audiences.

Comic nerds like to think they are the MCU's success but in fact it is everyone in general. The MCU is good at making unknown characters popular to "non" fans.

Your "guy" is actually wrong, and in turn, so are you. Going by his comment, and in short, yours.

quote

It's like you don't even know the history of the MCU... it started with characters people didn't care about!

end quote

MCU is largely referred to (as you likely know) as the "Marvel CINEMETIC Universe" The Marvel Cinematic Universe started with 2008 Iron Man, followed closely by 2008 The Incredible Hulk, and so on. Hulk is older than both Spider-Man & X-MEN (so "maybe" my ass) not to mention how popular the TV show was in the late 70s starring Lou Ferrigno.

So, the most known, recognizable & cared about characters were (in fact) used in the MCU (with the exception of Hawkeye LOL! and Black widow was used to make the little girls & forced girlfriends/wives having to sit thru the movies, happy.)

Most of the original first Avengers from the comic books started with characters that most people outside the hardcore fans wouldn't "care about" (with the exceptions being Iron Man, Hulk, Thor & Captain America, soon after) that being Ant Man, Wasp and later Quicksilver, Scarlett Witch, Hawkeye, Vision, Black Panther and so on.

This is why Disney/Marvel went with the team they started the MCU with, the most recognizable of Marvel characters being Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America, and added a couple more that weren't exactly well-known (or liked *COUGH* Hawkeye) but, was apart of the original team (or shortly after) like Hawkeye and Black widow (for the girls)

Which Black widow wouldn't become an Avenger in the comics for a nearly a decade after the Avengers 'assembled' in the comic books, but Disney/Marvel needed a "strong" female character, and this is solely why Black Widow was added to the original MCU version of the avengers.

And, as for your comment of "everyone in general" led to the MCU success.

Wrong!

Initially, you may be right, to the EARLY success of the MCU, but seeing on how many of the "tuff" guys and gals

(with a few commenting in this, and strangely every related Marvel article, even though It's always negative, and care enough about the brand to continue posting their meaningless thoughts)

They like to complain about how they "stopped watching the Marvel movies" and "how the MCU is trash now" or "how shitty the Marvel TV shows & movies are now" ect.

Those people are no longer involved in ANY success of the Marvel brand, and it is in fact, the TRUE fans (like myself) the "comic nerds" that STILL support Marvel, the TV shows and buy movie tickets that truly count, not the ones that talk shit...

They all can sit.
