@zerojuice: It's like you don't even know the history of the MCU... it started with characters people didn't care about!
No one cares about Iron man? No one cares about Hulk? No one cares about Thor or Captain America? No one wanted to see the Avengers on the big screen?!
I still want Jonathan Majors. It took a whole army of superheroes to take down Thanos, but only 1 woman to take down Kang (Majors)?!?! LOL!
I would rather Marvel recast Majors then just shitting on the whole Kang storyline in place of another (regardless of who it is) I wanna see more of the Council of Kang's, I wanna see his ultimate battle with the Avengers, I want his story arc fulfilled, not just swept under the rug, because of the actions of 1 actor.
If recasting is a possibility, I would suggest John Boyega. I get a Kang vibe from him, and he looks a bit like Majors.
The thing I don't like about Eddie Murphy (and other actors/actresses like him) is how once they earned a certain amount of money, they stay out of the public eye, refuse to sign autographs, don't do any new projects, no interviews ect. And as soon as the money dries up, their suddenly all "positive" again, putting themselves out there, autographs, interviews ect. They all wanna act like their doing it for the "love" of the craft, missing their public (fans) but, what they really care about, what their really missing, is the money, the paycheck.
Well, that's a shit storm. Oh well. but If their holding back the PC launch for whatever reasons, They better make it available on steam, when the PC version does release, and not that god awful R* launcher.
@j3diknightdave: yeah superhero movies are cool until you are 14
Yeah, that's why the theaters are crammed full of ages around 18-30s, with some I've seen as old as possibly 50+
Clearly If they were only "cool" until 14, the movies would have failed a long time ago. The only kids you ever see at the theaters are brought there by their parents, typically these movies are usually littered with 18+ nerds, or the guys that drag their girlfriends/wives (like me lol) to see them.... or the "cool" guys that say superhero movies are only "cool" until your a certain age, but low key is still at every opening.
Anyone saying they have a problem with third-person for this type of game is smokin' crack. Its like if insomniac made Spider-Man first person, it may work for VR or something, but definitely not a console/pc game with all the martial arts, and the flipping around ect.
I'm all for third person. Now, with that being said...
It's nice to see a Marvel game coming to XBOX/PC, took Spider-Man like 4 years to release on PC, with XBOX players still wiggling their thumbs (and will likely stay that way, unless XBOX players buy a PS or have a PC)
And, with Wolverine being exclusive to PS, along with Spider-Man 2 for the foreseeable future. XBOX/PC needs some of the Marvel love at release, and not that shitty Avengers game.
Since Sony has Spider-Man and eventually Wolverine, It's nice to see Blade being exclusive to XBOX/PC.
If Blade is successful as the Spider-Man game was for Sony, M$ (and PC players) will definitely have a "Win" with a Marvel character here, and with a more "mature" setting (most likely) to boot.
As for the design, the only thing I caught in the teaser that didn't feel right to me was the revolver... Should be a MAC, but I'm guessing It's just going to be one of the guns in his arsenal.
Regardless, can't wait to see more... actual gameplay.
