A 9! for Killing of the flower moon (more like a 4 at best... way too long, and pretty boring, other than a few spots. While Scorsese has made some real gems in the past, this movie is far from a 9, his last decent movie was probably "The Irishman")
Now this movie, an 8? perhaps, I like history movies, so I'll give it shot
Overall though, In my opinion (and everyone is entitled to one) None of the reviews (mentioned above) by this reviewer live up to the rating, and seeing on how their ratings tend to be about 4 points in the wrong directions, That means this movie may be more like a 4...
I'll change my opinion if it turns out to be better.
love star wars (except for the last movie) love marvel (except for captain marvel) no problems here for me. my childhood comics are coming to life. keep them coming.
@j3diknightdave: Well yeah, possibly. My reasoning is simply that if something has "edge" it has a chance. Which Deadpool and Blade have. We have so many cookie cutter family friendly superhero movies. But not unfiltered R rated ones 🤔
Interesting... This is the first time I don't care about the spoiler in a Marvel movie, because I have no intentions on seeing it (at least until its released on D+)
most notable content creators on YT have been rumoring this for a while, that It will be "Rated R" without an official response from Disney/Marvel. Plus, recent moves in that direction with the release of the "Echo" trailer, and with how many fans will be pissed off if Deadpool 3 comes out with anything less than an "R rating"
It wouldn't be a surprise if Blade turns out to be "R rated"
The "House of mouse" has to grow up with the times. While these Marvel movies are mostly kid centric, It's the adults that have the money, and the adults with/without kids that want this content. So either the parents will budge, and take the kids regretless of the rating or they won't, and will just see it without the kids after hours (at home) or on "Date night" when the kids are at the baby sitters. (that's what me and the wife do, when we want to see a movie that may not be suitable for our children)
One way or another, the people that want to see it, will see it. So there shouldn't be this barrier that Disney has been trying to keep up... they already cater to just about everything & everyone under the moon, movie ratings (short of porno) should be no different.
