[QUOTE="RockmanSRD"][QUOTE="Revelat1on"] So possibly, this next week, I will be getting Halo 3 early from microsoft to compensate me for my 4th 360 breaking down. The last one, sadly, they shipped me, didnt work right out of the box and I am just having horrible luck. And I play maybe 12 hours a week.
So to compensate me, they asked what would I like? Free xbox live? Controllers? HDD? Game? etc... I told them I want H3 Limited edition and I want it early. They said they will see what they can do. So quite possible...i will have it before everyone else. My guess is before or when my console gets back to me which is at the end of this week or beginning of next week.
heres my question. Even though Im a HUGE halo fan and cant WAIT for this game...I do already have it paid off and pre-ordered...and I like going to the midnight madness things, and it really will only be a litle longer of a wait...should I just open it and play it through or should I sell it on ebay? Im guessing I could ask 120 for it, some crazy person would pay that. What do you guys think?

Is it worth a $10,000 fine and a year in jail for you?
That is what the cost is of breaking that pre-street date agreement.
omg you guys are so funny. No, when the PUBLISHER who DISTRIBUTES the games gives out coppies early (which they did for halo 2 to several different people in tournaments and raffles), it is not illegal. And, if a COMPANY or RETAILER sells you a copy, you can do whatever you want with it. The Retailer would be at fault. Please, do not try to argue with someone who was a manager at a videogame store about videogame retailing laws. I don't want to have to own you further.
This thread was just entertaining for quite sometime and I was trying to go without saying anything, but you just got me on that comment alone. Trying to use the fact that you "were a manager at a videogame store" as like status of something, I guess to me that is just funny
