why do you need a wireless headset when the CONTROLLER IS WIRELESS????

that's like buying a console where you don't even have to put the games inside it for you to play them, they just have to be in a 50 foot vicinity. damn stupid and useless.

mistervengeance

No it's nothing like buying a console and not having to put games in. Next time you try to think of an analogy, you might want to try a little harder, Also pretty much using your logic why buy a wireless controller when you can buy wired ones. They are all accessories, granted they aren't needed, but neither is your useless rant that is based on empty logic

I think its going to be alot better then Guitar Hero. I think Guitar Hero is awesome but Rock band is made by creators of the original Guitar Hero which was the best one of the series. I plan to buy the drum set with Rock band and guitar hero 3 with a second guitar that way i will have 2 guitars and a drum set. :] But thats all im getting this fall gamewise is rock band, guitar hero 3 and halo 3. All i need actually.zeldafan00013

That's the way that I feel, i might get half life sometime also, but the three games that you mentioned should be enough to keep me entertained for quite sometime

Yea i agree with ya, i was skeptical at first, and wasn't going to spend themoney on one, so my gf got it for me for xmas and I love the thing, it's just like you said, you can run around the house in between maps and still hear what people are saying, and I think the sound quality is better

I think it is going to be well worth it, if you got other people to play it with then definitely it is worth it, also if you want to play all the different instruments, if not, i would get the drums because they look like they are going to rock

dhcp is enabled and i dont know what a wep key is. and how do i setup the stats as static?BIGJosher

Earlier someone had asked you if you could get on the same network as your wireless adaptor and you said that you could.

Does your wireless adapter plug into your xbox through the usb port or does it plug in via an ethernet cable?

Do you want me to set up a static ip on my 360? BIGJosher

The wireless bridge is technically the name for the wireless device the you have hooked up to your 360, you need to setup the stats on that as static, and then you should be able to leave the settings on your 360 as dynamic.

unless does your wireless router, have a wep key and dhcp enabled?

Yea it did not work. It is still strict. Jager do you have some other ideas than what they have mentioned?BIGJosher

From the posts earlier in this, it states that you are able to log onto your wireless device (bridge) that is connected to the 360 I am going to go with the thought, that it still true, What you need to do first is get on your pc and go to start -> run and type in cmd (if you have xp or vista) or command (if you are running 2k) Once there it should come up with c:/ (prompt) of somesort, type in ipconfig and then hit enter,

that will bring up your ip settings. you are then going to want to get into the bridge configuration and setup the things about the same

ip addy - use something close to the one that shows up on your pc just switch the last number

exp. if your pc comes up with 10.12.4.14 then put the ip on your bridge as 10.12.4.15 or something like that

make sure that you set the subnet mask and the default gateway as the samething that shows up on your pc, after that you might have to reset your bridge to save the changes or what not,

You are going to have to reset the 360 then run the test connection and let me know how that goes

[QUOTE="WillT12345"][QUOTE="yucky_straw"]

[QUOTE="WillT12345"][QUOTE="yucky_straw"]Make sure that your PC is off if you share routers. Then try unplugging it for 30 seconds. yucky_straw

Why would you share routers???? Connecting your 360 up properly should not involve unpluging of any wires to get on live.

If you have cable internet and a wireless set up then you will be using a router to split the connection between your PC and xbox. Thats what routers do. They let you "route" the connection to different machines. I suggested unplugging the router for 30 seconds because thats what customer service will tell you to do if you call them. And yes, of course you need to plug it back in to go online.

yeah ok, you don't know what you are talking about.

Yes I do. You are very uneducated in the field of XBOX configuring. You must be a C+ student at best in your school studies. But there's still hope. You can be the President of our country.

And do you know what the purpose of unplugging the router is? Actually they don't let you "route" the signal, they either let you split or share the signal, depends on if it is a switch or a hub, but i am sure that is way beyond you, and you are right I am not an expert of xbox configuring. Seems how I am a comptia a+ tech and a asst. network admin, i am an expert of IP configuration which, may or may not be as good as your xbox configuring. so please if you have no idea what you are doing, please don't offer your hair-brained idea. Thanks,

[QUOTE="Radiozo"]

[QUOTE="BIGJosher"]Do I have to disable UnUp or the DHCP server?jacksheets

No all you do is portforward 88 and 3074 to the ipadress attached to your 360. You do not need to turn off anything.

This guy is correct. Do this and you'll fix your NAT. All other suggestions are bogus.

This could possibly work, the other suggestions in here are bogus, but there are still some that can be made, If this doesn't work please let me know and I will tell you the proper way to fix the problem
