ok dokay guys thanks for all the help!... so as for the fans yes i have the cpu fan attached along with a case fan but it runs independent of the mobo... ANYway. so i have gotten to thing to POST and i can now enter the BIOS WOOO... i had to remove one of the sticks of RAM... which is an issue... i bought 4 GB so how do i get it so that the PC runs 4GB of ram... as opposed to the 2 which it now is. One problem after another i suppose...

ok well then... im going to go out on a limb and say it is not POSTing. yeah i've connected the gfx card and all power connections i've spotted... would it make a difference or not if i had any fans connected because currently i don't have any fans running to the mobo but yeah. umm so i have no idea whats up... is it possible that the mobo is dead? or something like that? as for the troubleshooting ive gone through it twice... no luck.

so as for a POST i dont know what that means although yes it beeps and it seems like everything is going great but the monitor says no source, and then the computer shuts itself down and then restarts like i said. I've checked all the connections multiple times so yeah... could it have anything to do with the fact that the hdd is sata and the dvd is ata? i'll try the one dimm for mem tommorow... any more ideas?

so today i built my first computer in a year, and i've never had problems with the previous computers i've built but this one is giving me difficulties. So basically when i went to go turn it on for the first time today the computer powered up and everything appeared to be running but i get no signal on screen and about 10-15 seconds later the computer shuts itself off and then restarts going through the whole process again. PLEASE help me i dont know what to do...

Hey... so soon i will be off to college and i'm going to have to ditch the desktop pc (tear?). I've been out of the computer market for awahile now and thats where you come in... My budget is at most $2000, i dont necessairly want a gaming focused laptop (oxymoron), but i do want something that is solid and will last me at least 4 years. I've been looking around and so far the best i've seen is the Hp HDX 16 or something like that. Oh and the screen cant be bigger than 16inches and i'd like to be able to use my surround sound speakers with it (it has 3 audio plugs?) so will i need a seperate sound card? Thanks for your input!

but mgs is $20 cheaper... i did get the original... and played it through about 5 times unlocking every character so idk... i think its between mgs and gow

ok so im gettin a new game for my psp... anyway advice on which of these three i should get:

God of war (never played any of them)

MGS:PO+ (ive played every mgs game but this one... is it worth the $20?)

SOCOM tactical strike (i had the first psp one and thought it was rlly fun so yeah)

Same goes for Red Sox. Their 1-2 combo is vitually unscoreable and the Ortiz-Manny combo is one of the best.
