@ piranha_inc risk of eye damage from the 3D? i dunno if you noticed the little switch where you can turn that feature off. and the original DS didn't have that great of a lineup at launch. the only decent game was mario 64 and that was just another remake like zelda. more games will come now that the price has been cut.
also, i feel like a lot of people don't want to buy DLC, but it ends up turning into a ripple effect. a couple people will buy it just because they can, and of course you can't play against them if they are playing on a new map, so a couple more people will buy it to be able to play against them, and it keeps going. they're counting on those impulse buys
there's a way to let the companies know...obviously you just shouldn't buy it. the whole dlc thing is starting to turn me off to gaming. there's too much greed and dishonesty. i.e. the games that have dlc that you have to unlock when it's already on the disc. there should be a wait time before they are even allowed to release dlc or at least some kind of rule that if they are planning something during development with the rest of the game that they can't make charge extra for the dlc.

Why else would they ship it on its own before any supporting games are released?" just games with support. any game that doesn't say it was made for motion + wasn't programmed to have motion plus...also from what i've heard, they didn't originally include this cause the technology wasn't available at an affordable cost.
i don't see how that stupid Home crap could have an influence on whether or not someone buys a PS3...they should have put their focus on something more interesting or important...it kinda looks like second life, which is the most pointless game, if you can call it that... gamespot isn't biased.. they're just somewhat p.o.'d at the fact that the ps3 is an overhyped and overpriced piece of trash...for $600 they have a right to point out any flaws they see and also to expect that they get fixed.
no online til june? oh well..better late than never...though i'll probably hold off on the pokemon for wii cause the console pokemon games haven't really been that great...and it definitely looks like metroid and mario galaxy and smash bros won't be out til christmas ... T_T
plus...there's the fact that sony has a track record of producing products of less than acceptable quality...you know...all the disc read errors. yet another reason not to buy it til it's cheap which probably won't be until ps4 is released.
