I have to agree with Gamestop. Back in '05 when Xbox 360 first launched, I knew I was YEARS away from purchasing it, as I still had MANY un-opened, un-played games on my PS2. I was happy and content up until 2008 when I officially switched to the newest batch of consoles.
Even more so this time around, I have un-opened, un-played games for the 360 and PS3. Plus, if they add the whole "blocking used games" crap, I may put off buying next-gen consoles until they are dirt cheap and the Xbox 1440 and PS5 are already available.
at least POTUS isn't just straight up blaming games like all these other bouche-dags in congress. He wants research to be done first. And even then if it is found that games do produce more violence, all they will do is make it much much harder for children to get their hands on the games. I'm well in the clear, I'm practically an old man now.
