@epic_poke8: I believe in these scenes since it's a horror movie they are attempting to make it scary by only featuring the scenes when Pennywise is tormenting the children.
@epic_poke8: I disagree entirely about the book being "gore porn" the book did an amazing job of fully realizing the town, the characters within and the surrounding world.
@radic202: The director has stated this will be closer to the book then the original mini series was. Also it's rated a very hard R because they wanted the gore from the book.
Very nice, love the little reference to the book with the explanation of grey water, and them bringing the pistol to the house on Neibolt Street. I wonder how the leper will work in the film, if it will still offer Eddie Kaspbrak a blowie, I cannot imagine the writers actually doing that in the actual movie.
@se7en1989: So Sledgehammer has been working on CoD:WW2 for 3 years, and the only reason they're adding female soldiers is to "please sjw idiots"? Or are you implying they suddenly threw them in the game at the literal last moment? Because I highly doubt that, it's more likely they saw people asking about playable female soldiers and thought "Makes sense, no reason not to allow people to play with the model they want".
But you're right, it's those goddang feminists ruining games by wanting inclusion and diversity.
Very good, hopefully Dice learns in the next Battlefield and we see female soldiers represented as well, it's 2017 and unless you're going for 100% historical accuracy no reason exists to not allow them as options.
That really does suck, Neill Blomkamp is such a visionary director I would have loved to have seen what he would do with the Alien franchise. Covenant looks good, hopefully several years down the line once Ridley Scott is done with these films Neill Blomkamp can pick that movie back up.
@7tizz: While you are correct about taller people and such, this is a comic book, and as I said its been confirmed the The Joker has zero concept of self concern. Hell that was translated over into The Dark Knight when batman slams his fist on his open hand, slams his forehead into the desk and then smashes his head into the two way mirror the whole time laughing. The joker does not care about whatever level of pain he is, he can be shot, stabbed, beaten and he will continue to laugh and crack jokes. The Joker has been hit by Bane before, he broke his jaw and nearly punctured an eye when he hit him and the joker started messing with his broken jaw telling jokes.
@7tizz: Actually Joker is physically strong, mostly because he doesn't care about his physical well being. He can take a huge amount of punishment and dish it out just as much through force of will. He can go toe to toe with batman easily and has done so on several occasions.
